Zarah's POV
___________
"I can't believe I'm gonna meet the twins mom." I shrieked as she drove me to The Grove.

As we passed by the building, there was already a line four blocks long. And we still had well over an hour and a half to wait to get into the building.

I groaned, knowing I'd have to wait for what might as well be three hours before actually entering the building.

"What's wrong, don't you have VIP or something? Shouldn't you just go right in and avoid the line?"

"That's not how that works, mom. I don't have Front of the Line VIP. Just a pass to meet the twins."

"Ohh. That must suck then, huh. I bet these boys will be as big as The Beetles someday," my mom said as we finally pulled up to the end of the line.

"Mom, they don't sing."

"Well then what did I pay good money for? What do they do?"

"Technically, they act. They're recreating their YouTube videos or something along those lines. I don't know, I've seen videos on Twitter and Instagram okay?" I laughed as I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car.

"All day with you kid, I swear. 'Dolan Twins this' and 'Dolan Twins' that." She shook her head, smiling. I ran over to her side and have her a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll let you know you when I'm in line for the meet and greet. Bye, love you." I started walking towards the line.

"Love you too. Have fun Zarah!" She shouted as she pulled away, leaving me to wait in line with a million and one other fan girls and boys.

I stood in line for a good five minutes before a gust of wind came out of nowhere, knocking my poster out of my hand and into the middle of the street.

I rushed to get it, making sure no cars were coming before I headed across the street.

All of a sudden, a black Escalade came out of nowhere, just like the gust of wind.

I jumped back and out of the way, not grabbing my poster in time. The car ran it over, a horizontal tire mark over the hours of work put into making it.

"God, I am so sorry." I roundish man hopped out of the front seat and picked up the poster.

"Oh my god," were the only words I could think of.

Hours, days, weeks of thought, effort, and especially hard earned money completely down the drain.

"This is my fault. I was driving a bit over the speed limit. I owe you the deepest debt of apology. I know a lot of these girls have probably been out here for hours." He rubbed a hand through his beard.

"It's... It's fine." I lied.

"How's this, when you get to the merch table," he went into his truck and picked up a piece of paper and a pen.

He quickly signed something on it and gave it to me. "Tell them Kyle sent you. Any item of your choice, on the house."

I mean, it was a pretty extravagant sign. It lit up and everything, but I don't think it was worth it.

"I couldn't. I'm sorry." I tried giving him the slip back.

"I insist." He pushed my hand back toward me.
