Y/N POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I picked up my last bag off the floor and threw it in the trunk of Grayson's pick up. He insisted that we all went camping together and get out of the city for a few days.
Ethan and I agreed after a few days of thinking. We agreed to sleep outside, but a cabin was a necessity. I mean, let's face it, none of us could could a day without charging our phones.
"Ethan! Let's go!" Grayson called to him, blowing the horn a few times.
Ethan ran out the house, carrying a small dufflebag.
"What's that for?" I questioned, smiling.
"It's all my technological stuff." He smiled, holding it to his chest and tapping it a few times. "You know, chargers, headphones, camera cords-"
"Dude, it's just a few days. Chill fam." I laughed, making him laugh.
He placed the case in the front seat with Grayson and shut the door.
"Are we not going or something?" I laughed.
"No, there's just not enough room for us up there."
"But there is..." I was cut off by him raising his eyebrows at me.
"True, true. So where are we supposed to-" I was cut off once again by him picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.
"ETHAN WHAT THE FUCK! PUT ME DOWN!" I screamed but couldn't help but laugh at the same time.
He, surprisingly, gently placed me into the back of the truck on top of two rolled up sleeping bags.
"Chill fam. You do too much baby girl." He laughed, swiftly climbing into the truck.
"Whatever." I knocked on the window, calling to Grayson.
"Aye yo y/n what's good?" He said, sliding the little window out of place.
"We're ready. Let's go."
With that, he slid the window shut, taking off on a not too long road trip to our cabin.
We made it there within an hour, thankfully because my phone was on 40%, meaning it was literally about to die.
"We're here." Grayson said when he got out of the car.
I looked around. We were surrounded by full trees and almost dark, clouded skies. The grass was the perfect shade of green with perfectly unperfected marble stones placed to form a trail that disappeared behind our wooden cabin.
The cabin itself wasn't that large, but we weren't planning on using it for anything but the outlets, cooking, and for the bathroom.
While I was in my thoughts, I felt Ethan tugging at my arm.
"Huh?"
"Let's go." He laughed, already waiting for me outside the truck.
I stood up and sat back down in the ledge where I outstretched my arms. They found themselves around Ethan's neck as he pulled me off the car and into his arms {goals}.
He set me on the ground and we held each other's gaze for what felt like an eternity. We finally pecked each other on the lips, my arms still around his neck as I pulled him closer, making the kiss last longer.
"Ew. You guys make me sick. Now I have to spend the whole weekend with you two." He rolled his eyes, laughing.
Ethan and I couldn't help but laugh as well. We grabbed bags from the truck and raced inside behind Grayson.
The inside wasn't as pretty as the outside, but that's not what we were here for. We were here to camp outside, not inside.
"Let's go out back. It's already getting kinda dark." Ethan suggested when we all finished putting our bags inside.
"Yeah. Let me just charge my phone real quick." I said, digging around my bag for my charger.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Grayson putting a few things away in the dresser of the room we were in.
I looked behind him to see Ethan taking out a bag of marshmallows.
"Ooh!" I said, pulling out my charger and running towards Ethan.
I snatched the bag from him before he could comprehend what had just happened.
I plugged up my phone to my charger while Ethan sat on the floor laughing his ass off.
"Come on! I wanna roast my damn marshmallows!!" I said pulling his arm and struggling to drag him out of the room while he was still on the floor.
Grayson stood there laughing as he put his folded shirts into the drawers.
When we all made it outside, we looked around for some wood for the bonfire. We eventually found some and started the fire.
The fire crackled as we sat in our dark wooden logs, sticks in hand with marshmallows in the ends. We had been sitting here reminiscing for about an hour.
"So how do you guys wanna end the day?" Grayson asked, taking his marshmallow in-between two graham crackers.
"Stargazing?" I suggested, taking a bite from my s'more.
"Definitely." Ethan said.
After about five s'mores each we'd figures we'd had enough. We went inside, grabbed our sleeping bags, and came back out. We layed them all next to each other, me laying in-between my boyfriend and best friend.
"I forgot. I'm gonna go get my phone off the charger." Grayson said as Ethan and I just put our heads on our sleeping bags.
"Ooh, grab mine too, yeah?" I said, snuggling up to Ethan's chest.
"Whatever. Just don't be making out or doing some nasty ish when I come back." He laughed as he jogged back toward the cabin.
Ethan and I laughed, looking up at the start night sky. The stars were scattered about everywhere, even though we could barley see them with all of the tree branches in our way.
The moon was shining brightly, and for a moment, I felt like it was on just the two of us. It's as if we were the only two people in the world and it was the overseer that kept us company.
"Y/n." I heard Ethan say, interrupting my thoughts.
"Yeah Ethan." I looked over at him, his eyes glimmering.
"I love you so much baby girl."
"I love you so much more Ethan." I said, leaning over and pecking him on the lips.
"EEWWWW! WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!" Grayson said, laughing as he ran over to us.
He jumped right on top of us, making us burst out laughing. What else can a girl ask for besides a few people she knows love her and can make her happy?
