The Other Doppelganger

Chapter Six

Katalina's POV:

My first day of school went well, beside a bunch of people mistaken me for Elena. That really annoyed me. Eventually people got the message that I wasn't Elena. This morning I got a text from Elena asking me to come over. She didn't say what is was about but said that it was important. I didn't want to go alone so I brought Rosalie with me. 

"Why did I have to come with again?" Rosalie said as I knocked on Elena's door. 

"Because I wanted you here with me." I said. Seconds later Elena opens the door.

"Thanks for coming." She said.

"What's so important?" I asked.

"Please, come in." She said to us. Its not like we need an invitation but whatever. We walked in and Rosalie and I followed her to the kitchen where stood a man I've never seen before. He took one look at me and he knew who I was.

"Katalina.. this is John.. our biological father." Elena said. 

"This is what was so important?" I said. 

"I just thought you'd like to meet him." Elena said. 

"Well, I don't. Come on Rosalie." I said.

"Wait!" I hear John say. 

"What?" I said.

"I didn't know.. I didn't know Isobel gave you away. Not until last minute." He said. I looked at him.. I couldn't decided whether I should get to know my biological father. 

"Fine." I finally said. We made our way into the living room and we all sat down. Rosalie stayed by my side. 

"What would you like to know." I said to John.

"Anything.. I want to get to know you." He said. 

"Well, my favorite colors are blue and purple, I love shopping with my sisters. I used to be captain of the cheerleading squad at my old school." I said. 

"Tell me about your family." John said.

"Carlisle and Esme are wonderful parents. I have five siblings. Edward, Jasper, Alice and Emmet. Next to me is my sister Rosalie." I tell John.

"Elena told me that your a vampire..." I quickly looked at Elena giving her a dirty.

"That wasn't your secret to tell." Rosalie said with anger.

"Ah.. yeah. I assume that bugs you being a vampire hunter and all." I say.

"A little bit.. but your my daughter. And its who you are now, and I accept it. Elena also told me that this wasn't your choice." John said. Rosalie looked at Elena. She was ready to kill her. 

"Yes, I was helping my brother's girlfriend and she got me killed. By the time my family got to us it was to late to get the venom out of my body." I tell him.

"What kind of vampire are you? If you don't mind me asking." He asked.

"There's more than one kind?" Elena said. 

"Yes, the Cold Ones and nightwalkers." John tells Elena. She looked shock with this new information she's was just given.

"I'm a Cold One. Before you even ask yes I feed on humans but I don't kill them. One of my gift allows me to stun them if you will. When I'm done I let them go they will have no memory of anything that happened." I say to them.

"One? So you have more than one?" John asked me. I sighed. I then told him the rest of my gifts and how they work. I could tell Rosalie did like this one bit.
