The girl from science class

Did you hear about the girl, from science class

The one others mocked for being improper,

We learned yesterday that she passed

Because of an illness called cancer.

Every time they made fun of her

For being messy, for being late

She would bite her toungue. In silence, she suffered

But no one wanted to stop the hate.

Now look at them, regretting their actions,

They keep saying that they didn't know,

Their words as bitter as lemons,

Will they at least get the memo?

 Apparently, only the teachers knew,

She had never told anyone else.

They could have changed the other's point of view,

Instead, they let them live at her expense.

It's now time to say goodbye,

Nothing will ever be the same,

The only remains are her friend's silent cries,

Because no one else dared to know her name.
