"Okay Mrs.Jones" I said. Mrs.Jones is teaching me how to bake her world famous chocolate chip coconut cookies in the entire New Jersey. She told me to mix flour and butter and she is grating coconut. "Mia baby the key is to use the fresh ingredients." She added two tablespoons of cocoa powder with grated coconut and is mixing it. I smiled at her. "It smells like heaven Mrs. Jones." She giggled in response. I have been asking her to teach me for years now. But I am always busy. I tried to bake them once in my home with my mom. But they weren't as divine as her's.

But this Sunday I arranged my schedule in a way so that I could bake with her. I cancelled a camping trip with my friends. I was not very interested in going there in the first place. Levi and Amanda went for it but I didn't. Levi has a girlfriend now. So spends most of his time with her. Amanda has been dating Ben for a few months now. They are so cheesy. They flirt and make out all the time and I feel a bit uncomfortable with them. I always feel like I am third wheeling with either of the couple. I lied to them when they forced me to come. I said I wanted to spend some time with my mom and dad as they are so busy in their jobs on weekdays. I only get the weekend with them and we are postponing our movie night together for quite some time now. Well it's not entirely a lie I did watch a movie with them last night and did spend time with them, but the main reason to cancel the trip was not that. I feel very awkward with them when they get out of their way to include me. I kind of feel embarrassed and guilty of keeping them from their respective partners.
"Mia now let's mix coconut and cocoa with the batter" Mrs.Jones said. "Yeah" I replied. I focused my mind on baking cookies. We placed them on butter paper on the tray and placed them in a pre heated oven. "Now we have to wait for fifteen minutes Mia and cookies will be ready. All hot and crunchy." "Okay Mrs. Jones". I smiled at her.
As we entered the living room. Leo is sitting on the couch watching a football game. His looked at us, distracted from the game. "Mia you sit with Leo, I will check on the pasta and chicken" I nodded at her. Leo looked at me. I smiled at him and waved with my hand. He smiled at me and waved back. He shifted to the couch and made space for me to sit. I walked towards the couch and took the seat right next to him. The game is on its machester united v/s southampton. Score is 0 for each. I initially didn't have much interest in soccer. But Levi keeps on talking about it all the time and we watch matches together with the three of us. I initially used to sit just to spend time with Leo. But now I am a fan too. It is fun. We always support Arsenal. They are pretty up in the league. It's our favourite team. If it would be their match today. Levi also would have cancelled the campaign trip.
