I am sitting in the school bus with Amanda, she is my really good friend. I like spending time with her. She is talking about Ben. She is always talking about Ben. She has had this huge crush on him since the start of our 5th grade. "Mia you know Ben looked back at me when he came in the bus, he even smiled at me." She hid her face with the palm of her hand. "I thought I was going to faint, Mia." "Oh Amanda you won't faint." Then we laughed. "Enough about me and Ben. How is Leo?" My face turned red I took an astonishing gasp and covered my mouth with my hand. I looked around me to check that no one had listened. When I was sure of the fact that no one was paying attention to our conversation I looked at Amanda and placed a finger on my lips to show her to be quiet. "Don't be loud Amanda. I don't want anyone to listen to my feelings for Leo". I said to her in a hushed tone. "Oh I am sorry. I forgot the excitement." She said. I smiled at her to tell it's okay. I didn't tell anyone about my crush on Leo. Only Amanda knows. Well I don't have many friends to tell too. I only have Levi and Amanda, whom I call friends. And I can't certainly tell Levi about the huge crush I am having on his big brother. He would think I am crazy. Also Leo already has a girlfriend. So it's only me being crazy about him. He just thinks of me as a kid, a friend to his younger brother. "There is nothing new. He has a girlfriend you know. He didn't even look at me that way. He thinks I am a kid you know." I said to Amanda. "Oh don't worry about him. You know you should think of other boys." I frowned at the thought. "No thanks Amanda"
The bus stopped at the stop and Levi entered the bus. He waved at us "Hi Mia, Hi Amanda" "Hi Levi", we said in unison. Then he walked back to the boys. Levi is an extrovert. He has so many friends and he is also very popular in the class, and since then he has joined the school's junior football team. He is the crush of almost all the girls of the class.

The bus stopped at another stop and Chelsi Dewan and Leo climbed up on the bus together. My heart broke at the sight. I turned my face towards the window to avoid their view. Amanda held my hand. I still remember the day when Levi told me that Leo has a girlfriend. Exactly a month ago. I was shattered and I cried for hours in my room. I didn't even show up for school the next day. I told my dad that I was sick and needed rest. They didn't catch my bluff. I am a good obedient girl and I like going to school and studying, I am not like Levi I don't like to skip school. But that day I did. Amanda told me "it will be okay." I nodded at her and gave her a sad smile. Amanda had been with me during the whole heartbreak. She has been so nice and supportive. I am glad that I had someone to share the pain with. It would have been so suffocating to be on my own this time.
