Leo left my arm and placed both his hands on the wall behind me across my face, caging me like a helpless bird. This close I can smell his annoying woody cent. "Don't talk to me in that tone Mia", he said in a scary low and calm tone. The tone that brought shiver down my spine. But I held my ground high and replied "if you don't like my tone then you should just leave me alone, better not talk to me ever again".
Leo stared at me for a few seconds.
His whiskey brown eyes turning dark probably with anger. He is used to people agreeing to him take his words as words for God and worship him. But I am not the people I don't care about how powerful or how dangerous he is. I will never bow down to him.
"You had enough alcohol for the day, you should call it the night and go home, I will have my driver drop you to your apartment".
"No, I will decide when to call it the night, thank you for your offer Mr. Jones, but I will have to decline it". With that I lowered myself a little and got out of his suffocating cage.
I headed straight to the party. Although I am thankful to Leo for getting rid of Richard for me. His flirting was getting a bit annoying.
I took two tequila shots to simmer down the anger from my little argument with the devil.
After that I hit the dance floor with my friends or should I say colleagues. Shaking my body with the beats of the music. I am all sweaty with the dancing. Other models pulled for more shots, I took two vodka shots with them. Bad idea I instantly feel the regret filling me up as my head spun from all the alcohol I took for the night.
But I enjoyed the daze and got up on the bar shaking my butt to gasolina. I could hear people cheering from below. Somebody got up at the bar and started dancing with me. I turned around to see who he was.
It turns out he is Lev. We swayed to the music, giving everybody a good show. But as the vodka sink in I could feel my vision getting blurry and turning black.
NEXT MORNING
Somebody is hammering my head to crack open from inside.
"Oh god" I murmured in agony.
Slowly the memories from last night sank in, the show, the party, the alcohol, the fight, the alcohol, the dancing, and again the alcohol.
Where am I. I woke up in a bed that's not mine. Worry started to buzz but it faded away as soon as it rose. I am in Levi's guest bedroom or my bedroom in his house. I practically live in it when I am not in my apartment. I have spent countless nights and days here. He sometimes jokes saying that he should charge rent from me.
I took some spear clothes from the closet and headed for a shower. The cold water helped a little with the throbbing headache but it doesn't fade away completely.
After showering and dressing in my loose and comfy sweatshirt and shorts I stepped out of my room.
