Chapter-29 : Forgiveness

Mia looked at me stunned.
She has no reason to be stunned can't she see how much I want her whenever we are alone I can't take my hands off her, to hell with everyone even in the crowd my eyes only seek her. They are attracted to see only her, they could find her in the crowd of a million people.
What I am feeling can't be one sided, I saw her cat brown eyes shine every time they meet mine. I can see she wants me too maybe she has not accepted it in her mind but her body doesn't lie.
But soon, very soon her mind, her heart and her body will want me, like I want her. Her desire for me might not be as obsessive as mine, it might not be as dark as mine but it is there.

"Yet?" She asked in her soft low voice, her voice coated in fear.
"Yes yet" I say as I took a step closer to her.
She took a step away from me as I took another step towards her, she took another step back but she was stopped midway by the wall. She has nowhere to go now. I took another step closer to her, this close I can smell her soft sweet scent.
Her wide eyes are one mine laced with fear like a deer caught in the headlight.
"Leo" she said breathless.
I groaned listening her soft voice "fuck Mia you are driving me crazy".
Her jaw drops probably in shock but my mind is on claiming her mouth, and my desires got better of me and the next moment my lips are on her's.
As my tongue swipes over her's she moaned in my mouth and I groaned in response.
She tasted warm, sweet and like fucking addiction.
We kissed eachother without holding back until we couldn't. As we seperateed she is gasping for air, my breath is heavy too. Her lips are swollen because of me and the sight brings me pleasure.

I took her hand in mine "come on".
She didn't said a word and let me lead the way.
I took her to presidential suite of the hotel.
She followed me.
But when we enter the bedroom she stop walking.
"Wait Leo, I can't."
I looked at her. What happened she was into our kiss, she was kissing me back.
She even kissed me back in New Jersey and in Levi's apartment to.
I closed my eyes to hold in myself and think from my mind and not from my dick which is rock hard as I got her taste.
"Why?" I asked her with all the patience and slowly peeling open my eyes.
A tear fell down from her left eye to her cheek and threatened to fall any moment from her filled right eye as she said "because I couldn't take another heart break".
Another tear fell from her right eye "I am not nearly over from my first one. I can't get in too deep. I can't be with you without falling for you, my heart loves you Leo, it always have and some part of it will always love you no matter how bad you fuck up. If I get any closer I am afraid I can't stop it from falling for you again."

Her teary admission of her avoidance left me stunned. I loath myself for hurting her, for breaking her heart when I had her.
I walked closer to her took her face in my hand and wipes her tears from my thumbs.
"Mia I am so sorry for everything I had done back then. Back then I was weak, I thought I m so incapable, so incompetent to have an angel like you. I was so insecure that I let my insecurities win over my love, over our love."
I kneel down in front of her.
Her eyes went wide as she sees me on the floor.
"But if you give me another chance I swore I will never hurt you in any way.
I will love you, cherish you. I want you only you Mia. I always have and I always will. I know what I did back then is unforgivable but can you please forgive me and give me another chance Mia."

She bend down and wrapped her arms around me and hugged me. She hugged me so tightly and sobbed.
I wrapped my arms around her and rubbed her back soothing her.
"Promise me Leo you will never break my heart again."
"I will never".

We sat on the floor forever like that in each other's arms, consoling each other in a way from years of pain and hurt.

Her stomach groaned.
"Are you hungry?" I asked her and she smiled and said "I am starving, I don't usually eat much on the day of the show."
"Okay let me order us some food."
I stood up from the ground and held her up with me.
She went to bathroom.
I called room service.
When she cameback the dinning room of the suite is set up with dinner.
"Woah I said I didn't eat anything from the morning not since I was five. This is way too much food for two people Leo."
"I didn't know what you are in mood of so I ordered a little bit of everything."
"Well next time just ask."
"Okay I will."

We had dinner while we talk.
"By the way you know you are crazy to buy that dress. It doesn't make sense to spend so much money on something that you won't even get to wear."
"I bought for you."
She stopped midway,her spoon hanging in the air and her jaw dropped. Then she closed her mouth and gave me a copy smile "nice try, you could be quite a flatterer you know Mr.Jones."
I smiled back "that I can be but this time, I am speaking the truth.
You looked so happy in the dress. I know I had to get it for you."
Her smile fades away "really?"
"Really! Besides someone told me that it won't fit me."
She laughed and making her laugh makes me smile too.
