Aru screamed into her pillow. "Kylie! Help me! I'm gonna die! What are these headlines?" Kylie scrolled through them, wincing. "I think you've gotta do an interview. Some late night talk show or something. That'll help things simmer down a little. Why don't you go on Jimmy Fallon? He asked if you wanna go on the show next week and perform and stuff. He's one of the nicer interviewers!" Kylie said apologetically.
Aru got up, rubbing her eyes. "Yeah, sure. As long as it isn't the Ellen Show. I've got trauma from that."
"Okay, cool. I'll tell Jimmy you'll do it then. Are you okay?" Kylie looked at her, concerned.
Aru put her head in her hands, groaning. "Why is everything so fucked? If I even breath I get an article written about me." Kylie put a blanket around her. "I know hon, I know. It just comes with the job. There's nothing you can do to make it stop, we can only help it calm down a little." Aru sniffled.
"I forgot to thank Beyonce in my speech," she said. "I'm gonna get killed." Kylie sighed. "That's what you have a bodyguard for. If you want, you can make a post saying you're listening to 'Single Ladies' or something. And you can say that you're single. That'll diffuse the accusations against you because you went out for coffee with Aiden."
"I'm gonna kill these press people, I swear to god." Aru said, scowling at her phone.
"Aiden is pretty cute though," Kylie said, nudging Aru playfully. "At least you're getting articles written about him with you then about how you're talking to some ugly-ass dude." Aru rolled her eyes. "Yeah, true. But we're literally just friends, it makes me mad how anybody can twist what I do or say into something completely different."
Kylie sighed, then paused. "What if we let them believe that you're dating him?"

AIDEN'S POV
Aru took a seat across the table from Aiden and his publicist. Her hair looked disheveled, her eyebags hung comfortably under her eyes, and she seemed uneasy. He reached for his phone to text her.
