Alvin's POV.
..........................................
Haddock Island. Our ship docked on its sandy shores. And soon my twenty other armoured ships docked. I jumped off and ordered my men around.
"Savage! Gather ten good dragon fighter men and follow me. The rest of you stay and guard the ships!"
"Yes chief!"

"Net that Nadder! Watch the Gronckle! Look out for the Nightmare!!" I yelled. Dragons were everywhere! How many dragons has this man trained?!
"Savage! Go back and get some more men!" I shouted as I smacked a Gronckle in the head. It looked at me ferociously and then started to form a blast in its mouth. But a net stopped it doing that. The dragons started to back off and then leave. I spotted a sheer cliff with some caves in it.
"Cmon!" I commanded. The men followed me as we stepped into the clearing. There was a well-built forge and about five stables carved into the rock. However, their were no dragons. Telling my men to examine the stables, I walked into the forge. The fire was going and there was a sword half made.
"Hmmm. Strange. You would think that he would have attacked by now." I mumbled to myself.
"Thats because he doesn't want to attack!" A voice said behind me. I swung around to see a well armoured young man of about twenty. He was wearing a mask, so I could only see his emerald eyes. They reminded me of someone at the back of my mind, but I couldn't think of that now. He held a sword that had a massive gap in the middle. It looked useless.
"Are you the Dragon Rider?"
"Is your name Alvin?" He asked me a question instead of answering mine.
"This is my island! And you're trespassing. So leave! And no one gets hurt." He finished.
"Well. I would love to leave this dragon infested island. But I unfortunately can't. You see, I'm here for someone." I explained, slowly walking towards him.
"The girl?" He asked. I nodded.
"How about we see what she has to say?" He suggested. I frowned in be bewilderment.
"Astrid! You can come out!" He shouted to the forest. A blue and yellow Deadly Nadder walked out proudly with a rider on its back. The rider made a crooning sound and the Nadder stopped, it then lowered its head a little and the rider jumped off. My men hurried back and stood behind me. The rider walked calmly up to the man and smiled. It was the girl. She was wearing a mask that looked like a Nadder head with the spikes. I could see her pure blue eyes.
"Are you the girl that got kidnapped from Berk by this man?" I asked. She stepped back a step and took her mask off.
"Kidnapped?! I wasn't kidnapped. Stoick was about to run my neck through and Hic.......this man saved my life! So I've decided to live with dragons and never ever return to Berk."
"Hmmm. But the problem...Astrid....is that Stoick has asked for your return. And for us to do whatever we want with this man." I gestured to the man next to her.
"My name is Hiccup." He butted in.
"Hiccup? Why does that name sound familiar? Have we met before?" I threw questions at him.
"Actually.....we have met before. But I was just a small boy, living on Berk." Hiccup replied. I gasped.
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III? Stoick's boy that ran away?"
"Yep...yep, that would be me." Hiccup replied.
"But....everyone thought that you were dead! Stoick told me that you flew away upon a Night Fury?!"
"I did. Toothless!!" Hiccup suddenly called. A shriek was heard as Night Fury bounded over to him. My men and I jumped back with fright. I automatically went for my sword, but scowled when I couldn't find it.
"Are you looking for these?" Astrid asked. She was holding a few swords.
"How? What?!"
"You really need to work on making sure no one takes your weapons." She smirked. I stared at the black devil that stood before me. It was completely black but had green eyes, just like Hiccup. But what surprised me the most was that it wasn't attacking.
"Dragons won't attack if you don't hurt or threaten them." Hiccup answered my gaze at the dragon.
"Alvin. This is Toothless. Toothless, Alvin." Hiccup introduced Toothless to me.
"Toothless? But don't Night Fury's have teeth?" My question was soon answered when two rows of teeth appeared.
"Retractable teeth!" One of my men gasped. Toothless suddenly advanced towards me and started to sniff. I walked back  but I was soon against a wall. He sniffed me all over and then gave Hiccup an approving nod and a small growl.
"Toothless says that he would like to get to know you better. Only if your willing. He says that there's a dragon that would suit you quite well." Hiccup told me.
"You...you can understand him?"
"Yes. I can understand all dragons."
"Amazing. Umm........but like I said before, I was sent here to bring Astrid back to Berk and to do whatever I wanted to do with you. But.....quite frankly, I don't want to even leave this island. If Vikings can ride dragons, that would solve everything!" I was surprised at what I said, but it was true.
"I see. Hmm....." Hiccup thought for a minute. Astrid suddenly looked different. She then grabbed Hiccup and they wandered away and talked quietly. For a second I wandered where Savage had gotten too. Astrid then came back and stopped in front of me.
"I would like to talk to you alone Alvin. Hiccup will tend to your men. I'm sure that they would like a drink or something to eat." She talked rather sassily.
"Alright." I agreed. Astrid and I then walked away in deep conversation.

Hiccup's POV.
..................................
After Astrid and Alvin left. I gathered the men together and took them to the cave, the walking way, and gave them water and food. They actually weren't that bad. I mean, without Alvin to boss them around they were like sheep without a shepherd. They were fascinated by the telescope that I had made. And all my other inventions. They especially liked my flaming sword. We then sat down again, and I explained how Vikings could be friends with dragons.
"Rawww!!" A Changewing appeared by my side, scaring me a little bit but scared the life out of the men. Calming them down I then turned to the Changewing.
"What is it?"
"I have spotted another tough Viking in the forest leading another twenty men. They are fighting Carly and Spike at the moment. But I fear for the damage that these Vikings could commit to Carly and Spike." She panted for breath as she hurriedly spoke. My gaze went from her to the scared men behind me.
"Did Alvin send for more men?!" I snapped at them.
"Yes. He sent Savage to get more backup to face the dragons." One of the men said. I cursed under my breath.
"Follow me." I jumped down the stairs as the men followed me. I jogged to the forge and grabbed my shield, as I ran back towards Toothless Savage jumped out and twenty men followed. Toothless blasted a few times. Alvin and Astrid ran up and Alvin stopped them.
"Sorry about this Hiccup." He apologised.
"Uhhh......Chief? Isn't that the girl?" Savage glanced at Astrid.
"She is. But I've decided not to take her. Stoick has actually lied! He said that Hiccup kidnapped Astrid. But actually, Hiccup saved Astrid from Stoick slicing her throat! No my men, we will side with Hiccup and his dragons. And Berk, is our enemy!"
