Zachary POV
"Zach-" I pull myself away from her. "Get off me man!"
"Nichelle!" I yell as she left. My world was crashing right in front of my eyes.
We just got right and I done made the worst mistake I ever could. This has been one of her fears and I just traumatized her again.
"Zachary just let her go!" Vanessa complained from behind me. Ignoring her I step out of the office
I witnessed her slap my mother
"I don't want to see this entire family ever again" my dad frowned before she stormed off.
"I'm going to press charges!" My mother yelled. My father turned to me with a look that could kill. "In the office. now"
At this point there was a crowd forming. "Everyone get back to work" my father barked, scaring everyone.
He entered the office and witnessed Vanessa and then looked back at me before stuffing his hands in his pockets.
He pointed at the door, I shut it.
He stood by the front of my desk
"What's going on here?" He pointed at us two.
"Dad... I -"
"Zachary, answer me"
"Mr. Anderson-"
"Speak when spoken to Ms. Kelly" shutting her up immediately.
"Nichelle thinks I cheated on her with Vanessa"
I can tell he's angry because of how calm he is.
"And did you?"
"Vanessa kissed me and I kissed her back, it was a genuine mistake. It meant nothing and ever since I've tried to keep her away"
"So you cheated?"
I didn't respond "this meant nothing to you Zach?" She said but this was probably the worst timing.
"Vanessa, I helped you in your time of need and yeah you helped me when I was upset one time but that's it" I said exhausted from this.
"That kiss was a mistake. I've been trying to tell you that for the last 30 minutes and you just can't take no for an answer"
She was on the verge of tears "Vanessa, we've taken you into our home to provide not only a place to stay but protection for you and the baby but it's been over a month now and it's time for you to settle in your own place" my dad said.
"We will still offer our support and anything you may need"
"Don't worry, I sure as hell won't be there by the time you come back" she said walking out.
Leaving just me and my father.
"I am very disappointed in you"
Words I hate to hear.
"Not only because I raised you better but because of the way you've built such a beautiful family and life for yourself and to tear it down by your own hands"
I sighed before looking down. I couldn't look him in the face anymore. The disappointment was more than evident.
"The character of a real man in the CEO position, holds strong values and morals but importantly integrity"
"Handle your marriage well and you'll handle your business well and you've failed"
"Dad-"
"She is not only your wife but the mother of your child!" He yelled flinging the chair "did you think about that?!"
"I made a mistake-"
"It doesn't matter now Zach! Mistake or no mistake the damage is already done"
