"Zach, get out the tub"
"I'm just watching you to make sure you're okay"
"And you gotta do that naked?"
"I'm just tryna be comfortable" I shake my head. He knew exactly what he was doing. He sat across from me.
"You just want to be close to me"
"Is that a problem?" I sighed and chose to ignore him.
I closed my eyes and tried to rest in this warm tub.
I jumped when I felt his hand grab my foot. Before I could ask he began massaging my foot.
"Just relax"
It's been almost a month since this accident. And about 3 weeks since my mom got here.
Mr. Avery and her have been acting so strange around each other, I just can't seem to understand.
I tried to ask my mother about it and she said it was a business deal gone wrong. I for whatever reason didn't buy that because what? I know he's a business man but what would he want to do with wedding dresses?
Unless maybe he tried to get married... that's a fair excuse right?
He's a lovely man I'm sure anybody would die to be his wife. He's such a family man, loves kids, wealthy. Who wouldn't want that?
"What you thinking about?" Zach asked interrupting my thoughts.
"Just how my moms been acting strange"
"I thought it was just me that noticed it" I shook my head. "I peeped it too"
"Particularly around Mr. Avery" he said and I couldn't agree more.
"You think they hooked up before?" I screw my face up. "My mom? Hook up?"
"Those two words don't even go together" he chuckled. "It's gotta be something, she told you anything?"
"She said it was a business deal gone bad"
"You believe it?" I shook my head again "nope"
"One time I was passing by and I saw her like aggressively whispering to him" he looked confused.
"Why?"
"That's what I'm trying to figure out" I say just as curious. "Mr. Avery will not even budge"
"I asked him and he stays with the same script. Bad business deal"
"Well if they don't wanna talk about it, let them have it" he shrugged but I wasn't gonna, something is very off about them two.
"On another note..." he mumbled before coming over to my side. "What are you doing?"he got behind me and gently placed me on his lap.
"Just relax, I got you" I sighed before leaning back onto him.
He placed gently kisses on my cheek and soon on my neck.
"Momma?" I hear Amira call for me.
Zach sighed. "Daddy?!"
"Yes baby?" He yelled "what you doing in mama's bathroom?"
"You touching her makeup again? Cause she gon pop you" I turn my head to look at him "is that what you be doing?" I say and He stale faced me.
"No baby, daddy's helping mama take a shower"
"You need to watch mama too?"
"Yup!"
