Chapter 103

You lay on your back, staring at the ceiling. Emma walks back into the room and places a bag in front of you. 

"Draken dropped a few things off for us to eat." Emma softly says smiling.

"I'm guessing he's going to that meeting thing?" You ask, sitting up slowly. Emma nods and opens the bag, pulling out a sandwich and peeling the plastic off. You sit up and look into the bag, pulling out a drink. Emma sighs before take a bite of the sandwich.

"What's wrong?" You ask. Emma looks at you and quickly chews her food and quickly swallowing it. She takes a deep breath and sits down across from you.

"I'm just- I don't understand why boys always result in fighting." She sighs. "Like... why do they have to fight all the time?" She asks, picking at her sandwich before taking another bite.

"I don't know..." You slowly say. She swallows her food and looks around her room before sighing again.

"I just find it all so stupid..." She pouts. "Boys are so stupid." She shakes her head. You smile and open the drink, slowly drinking from it. She watches you drink causing you to pause and look at her. Your eyes widen a bit, making you feel kind of anxious. "We should eat real quick so that we can sleep and have the whole day to hang out tomorrow!" She smiles. "And you can help me with ideas of asking Draken out. Hehe." 

You smile and nod.

You stare at the dark ceiling. Your eyes relax as you think about what Mikey said but then they narrow when you think about that weird nightmare you had. You can't recall most of it now but it really scared you. You turn your head slowly to look at Emma who is sound asleep. You smile a bit. Emma is really cute... You think to yourself. Emma softly smiles causing your eyes to widen. Did she hear my thoughts? You question. She slowly opens her eyes and looks into yours.

"I'm that cute that you have to stare at me?" She smiles. You furrow your eyebrows and she softly giggles. "You know... being with you... I feel really understood. I'm happy I met you Yuki-" She soothes. "Thank you for being my friend." She bubbles.

"Yeah..." You smile back.

The morning comes and you and Emma make your way out the house. Emma looks up at the sky and then back at you. 

"It's pretty cloudy... do you think it will rain?" Emma asks. You shrug. She sighs and then smiles back at you. "I wanna go back to that store we were at yesterday."

"You do?"

"Mhm... I wanna get something." She bubbles. You slowly nod and follow beside her.

You walk a while and look up at the sky when you feel the chilly breeze hit your face.

"Do you think... if it rains- do you think they will cancel the fight?" You ask. Emma looks at you and then shakes her head.

"Nope... those boys are stupid." She sighs.

"Mmm." 

"Here we are!" She bubbles, pulling you into the store. You both slowly walk around the store. You look at all the stuff, smiling at the cute things. Emma disappears off to the side of the store. You slowly follow behind her and then stop when she smiles at you. You furrow your eyebrows wondering why she's smiling so much.

"I wanted to get these." She says showing you four different keychains. They are silver bears holding different colored hearts. One bear is holding a magenta heart, one is holding a orange heart, another holding red, and the other holding a lavender pink one. You tilt your head in confusion.
