All good things must come to an end. That's what Damon had been taught from a very young age. He was well aware that he had already been gifted extra time than he already deserved.

He supposed London and Forks had something in common. It was always raining.

Damon blew out a breath, the cold air showing around it. "From one rainy place to another." He muttered as he followed Rosalie through the airport, their luggage in his hands.

Rosalie laughed as she looked up from her phone, messaging her sister to see where she was. "We're you expecting anything different?"

"Maybe a rainbow." He said as he followed her across the road to the car park. He looked up and saw the bright red car that he knew belonged to his girlfriend. "Oh, look, there's our rainbow."

Rosalie followed his line of sight, smiling when she caught sight of her sister standing next to her car with a smile on her face. "Of course, she just had to use my car."

They walked over, and as Damon got closer, he could see her holding a sign. He rolled his eyes when he saw what it said. 'Welcome home, my sister and her pet dog.'

"Dog, huh?" Damon muttered as he opened the boot and placed their bags inside. "Here, I thought we were getting along, pixie." He teased as he closed the boot.

Alice giggled as she went to get in the drivers seat. "We are, but you're still my sisters pet." She got in the car as Damon rolled his eyes, getting into the back as Rosalie hoped in the pasanger seat beside her sister.

Rosalie looked around her car with a frown. She got her radio back to her correct station. "Who touched my car." Rosalie adjuested her seat as she looked over at her sister.

Alice smirked. "Emmett thought he could use it to impress Hardin." Rosalie scoffed out a few harsh words towards her brother.

Damon laughed, shaking his head. "How is my darling brother?" He questioned as he leaned forward, sticking his head between the two front seats.

"He's doing good. He's missed you, but Emmett has been trying to distract him." Alice smiled at him through the rear view mirror.

Damon nodded his head, sinking back into the seat as he closed his eyes. He thought back to his brother, his twin, who had missed more than anything, everyday Damon would look up to the sky and say hello to his brother when the stars shone.

It was their deal with one another that every night they would look up at the stars and wish each other hello, no matter where they were or what they were doing.

The twins had done their best to keep in touch with one another. They would call or text. Sometimes, they would facetime, even if only for a moment, just to see one anothers faces.

Damon did love his time with Rosalie, but he missed his siblings. He knew he could never last this long without them ever again. He hardly lasted the summer.
