Randy thought he was always in love Sidney, but Karen was the one who truly had his heart. It just took a while for him to notice her but will their romance survive the madness ?
It's been 11 years since the last Ghostface attack, RJ had graduated the next semester. He had to do summer classes and online college courses in order to graduate from college early. When he was 18 years old, he moved back to Woodsboro, despite how bad as that sounds, he wanted to know more about the city his parents grew up in. He got to know his Aunt Martha, his godmother Judy, his godbrother Wes, and his cousins Chad and Mindy. Another good thing was that he achieved his dream to be a teacher at 18 and it had been a great job for seven years. Making $53,403 per year, with the money ranging between 32,014 and 89,082 each year.
He was capable of teaching multiple subjects but he was only to teach one or two classes. He teaches science and history, but mostly science. Since he lives with his Aunt and his cousins, he's basically around their friends most of the time. He was his cousins, his godbrother, and he met their friends, Tara, Amber, and Liv. He would help his Aunt Martha throughout the house and sometimes he would help his godmother, Judy, who was now the Sheriff.
His godfather, Dewey, was asked to retire, he had a divorce, and he started drinking to cope with his problems. RJ was against the coping mechanism but he didn't say anything about it because he didn't want to cause problems with Dewey. He hadn't been able to talk to Sidney in months and he hadn't spoken to Gale or seen her in years. Life was going great, but nowadays, he barely had time for fun. He devoted his time to his work, his studies, his family, but didn't have time for himself anymore.
Today, he wasn't feeling any good because today was something he was dreading for a long time. Ghostface had returned, but not only that, he or she had attacked Tara Carpenter. RJ knew that she wasn't alive because she was lucky, it was for a different reason. It was either to lure Sidney to Woodsboro (but she didn't know Tara) or to lure someone else back. RJ was currently walking in the hallway with his belongings in his bag with the strap on his arm.
He walked outside and saw all the students, reporters, and the police officers around the school. He approached his godmother to see if there was more information.
"Sheriff, is there a chance that I could speak with you about this ?" RJ asked.
"RJ, you don't have to speak to me with my professional name, you can still call me Aunt Judy. Now what do you need to know ?" Judy asked.
"I know you don't want to create a panic but are the whispers and rumors true ? About Ghostface ?" RJ asked.
"Yes, I know you have experience with this but I can't ask you for help because I need you to look after your family and keep a close eye on them." Judy said.
"The killer is either in the friend group or outside the group. But in order to know that for sure, I have to watch them closely without them knowing. Are you sure you don't need help directly ?" RJ asked.
"I'll be okay." Judy said. They both saw the friend group approaching them with Wes in the lead.
"Hey, Mom, Tara texted me and said she was awake. Is it okay if we see her ?" Wes asked. RJ and Judy looked at each other for a moment and looked back at the group.
"Yes, but RJ has to a go with you." Judy said.
"Alright guys. Follow me." RJ said as he led the group to his van.

They drove to the hospital to see Tara. RJ exchanged his greetings but kept to himself sitting in the chair in the corner. Suddenly, an older latina woman, Tara's sister, Sam, and a somewhat muscly nerdy looking guy and the others stood up. The woman walked over and knelt down near Tara.
"How are you feeling ?" Sam asked.
"You came." Tara said in disbelief.
"Of course I came. This is my boyfriend, Richie." Sam introduced.
"It's so nice to meet you. I'm so sorry for intruding." Richie said.
"Nice to meet you too." Tara said. Sam walked over to the others and she hugged Wes.
"Thanks for calling." Sam said with relief.
"Of course." Wes said as they both pulled away from the hug.
"Look at your hair. I like it." Sam said with a smile and touched his hair and Wes returned the smile.
"These are Chad and Mindy, the twins. And Wes. I used to babysit them all." Sam introduced the kids to Richie.
"Which is always how I like to be introduced." Wes joked with a small laugh.
"And Amber. Hey." Sam greeted.
"Hi. Nice to see you." Amber said with a smile.
RJ could tell that it was a fake smile. Sam turned to look at RJ, who got up from his chair.
"Nice to see you again, RJ." Sam said.
"You too, Sam." RJ said. Before she left Woodsboro, she never interacted with him but she's seen him on a few occasions.
"Where's Mom ?" Sam asked as she turned to Tara.
"She's stuck at a conference in London. She called me earlier." Tara said.
"Yeah, for all of ten minutes. Uh, look guys. Tara's really tired. Maybe we should give her some space." Amber suggested. Everyone began to walking out the door.
"Not you, Sam. I want you to say." Tara said.
"Okay." Sam said.
"But the rest..." Chad trailed off.
"Yeah." Mindy said. Everyone left the room and walked to the elevator.
"Come on, guys. I'll drop Wes off and we can go home." RJ said as they got into the elevator.
"Actually, we can go home ourselves. We would like some alone time and talk about what happened." Mindy said and RJ raised a brow at her.
"Come on, man. We'll be back home before you know it." Chad said. RJ was skeptical but was willing to let it slide.
"All right. Be home in one or two hours." RJ said as he walked out of the hospital doors and went to his van and drove away. He drove all the way back to the Meeks-Martin residence where he was currently living. He walked and his Aunt approached him.
"Where are the twins ?" Martha asked.
"They wanted to walk home from the hospital. I was skeptical but I respected that they wanted to be alone at the moment." RJ said truthfully.
"Andrew, I need you to do something for me. It's very important. I need you to protect them from Ghostface in any way you can. We lost your mother and your father to this. I don't want to lose anyone else. Not even my own nephew and kids." Martha said.
"I promise you, Aunt Martha. I'll do anything to keep them safe." RJ said as he pulled out his phone and began texting Wes.
He couldn't trust Mindy or Chad as far as he could throw them. Wes texted back telling him they were at the bar, RJ knew that there was something fishy. They better prayed that he didn't see them drinking underage. He left the residence drove around to find the twins, luckily, he arrived just in time after Wes gave him the location. He parked his van, got out, walked into the bar and saw Chad sizing up Vince, who pulled out his switch blade and quickly rushed over and got between the two.
"Okay Vince, let's calm down here. There's no need to be violent." RJ said. Him and Vince are good friends but he didn't want him to hurt his younger cousin.
"I respect you, RJ, but your cousin here is trying with me." Vince said.
"Hey! Get out of here or I'm calling the cops. You kids, too! Let's go!" The Bartender yelled.
RJ led the young friend group out of the bar with a disappointed look.
"You wanted time alone to talk about this ? You went to a bar underage while a serial killer is on the loose ? Do you know how reckless and immature that is ? You're lucky that Wes told me where you were. Let's go, your mother wants you home." RJ said as he got in his car in the driver seat while Wes set in the passenger seat and the others sat in the back as he drove away.
