Hello!! I know it's been a bit since I've done an Ateez story so sorry about that! But Yungi is actually so cute, I keep seeing TikToks so I had to make this story! I hope it turns out well and I hope you guys enjoy!

Yunho's POV

Fluff + Angst (a little)

"What did you need to talk to me about?" I said softly looked at Mingi who was sitting across from me.

Mingi was the opposite of me. We went to the same college, but everybody knew him. Captain of the basketball team. Your typical fuckboy athlete, but bi so even more of a fuckboy. I could see why, he had black hair that fell in front of his face. His eyes were sharp and a deep brown. His jawline was perfect, just like the rest of his body. His arms were toned and I imagine the rest of his body was too.

Do I have a slight crush? Yes, but everybody does.

The coffee shop was small and Mingi had bought each of us a coffee and a muffin before I got here. I've barely exchanged words with him except for a couple comments when we've had classes together, so I was confused when he texted me asking to meet up.

"Okay this is so weird, but me and my family are going on a trip. I was dating someone that I was going to take on the trip, but the relationship didn't work out. And now I'm worried my parents are going to be really pissed off, so I kind of need a fake boyfriend for a week."

"So you need me to protect your ego?"

"It's a bit more than that, they've spent thousands of dollars on this trip, and spent more when they found out they'd be meeting my mystery boyfriend for the first time. Family is important to me and I would pay them back but I don't want to disappoint them more than I already have in life."

"Okay you got me," I joked. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah my parents are just easily disappointed. My sister got married at 19 and is successful with a child on the way, so I'm put under a lot of pressure."

"I'm sorry," I said softly. "How many people have you asked?"

"Nobody, you're smart and sweet. I know we don't talk much, but I wanted to ask you."

I smiled, "Well thank you. I'd be happy to be your fake boyfriend for a week."

Mingi laughed, "It sounds so dumb. Oh my god I'm so sorry."

I laughed with him, "Don't be, it'll be fun. Plus you're really cool so I think we could become good friends."

"Thank you, I'll pay you I swear."

"I don't need a payment-"

"You'll think differently after you meet my family."

I smiled, "When is this trip?"

"Next week, we're going to Jeju Island. We'll take a plane there, first class. My family is annoyingly fancy and needs all the luxury."

"I'm not complaining, I've never been to Jeju Island."

"Really?! I've been multiple times, my grandparents have a house on the beach there. They aren't around so we go to visit at least once a year.

"That's so nice, I can't wait. So how did we meet?"

Mingi laughed. We talked about the details and our story of our fake dating. I usually wouldn't be so spontaneous, especially something like this, but it was the end of the school year and I needed a break.
