𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐈𝐌 on the bench in the dojo and glanced up when she heard the sound of bricks breaking yet again. "Oh!"

"Yeah!"

"Did it again!" Jack exclaimed and Veronica chuckled, looking down at the pile of broken bricks. "I am on fire! Fire!"

Kim tilted her head after his high-pitched cheer. "That's who you have a crush on?" she whispered to Veronica. "Really?"

"Shut it, you."

Rudy turned to the boy behind him. "More bricks, Eddie. Okay, just think, in a couple of hours, Jack is gonna break the world record for most bricks broken by anyone under sixteen."

"And I'm breaking a world record, too," Eddie said making the two girls look at him. "For most bricks wheelbarrowed from one place to another. Right, Rudy?"

"Yes, you are," he replied with a nod before turning to the girls and Jack. "No, he's not," he mouthed to them, shaking his head.

Veronica sighed and looked back down at the book of world records that Kim was holding. "Some of the records in this book are crazy," the blonde said, shifting the page to Veronica who tilted her head. "There was a woman in Michigan who ate her own car. Come look at this picture."

"Wow." Jack leaned over Veronica's shoulder and grimaced at the sight of the photo. "She literally has a trunk in her junk."

"Would you two let him focus?" Rudy asked with a sigh, walking over to the trio in exasperation. "The judge from the Burgess Book of World Records is gonna be here in a few hours."

"Hey, I'm just sitting here!" Veronica frowned, crossing her arms. "I am an innocent bystander in all of this."

Jack looked at Kim with a nod. "He's right," he said, agreeing with Rudy. "This is my last chance to break the record. After I turn sixteen next week, I won't be eligible."

Rudy smiled. "You know, you getting your name and, more importantly, this dojo's name in that record book is like the biggest thing that's ever happened to us."

"Come on, Rudy," Kim said with a frown, looking at him. "The biggest?"

"When I became a sensei, I had two goals," he replied and Veronica tilted her head. "Save the president from a ninja attack, and getting my dojo's name in a record book that's read by millions of people on their toilets."

Kim looked down at the book. "I'm out," she said, dropping the book in Veronica's hands who frowned and immediately let go of it.

"How could you do that to me?" she called after the retreating blonde, looking at the book in disgust.
