"Oh, on honeymoon?" Taehyung repeated, raising an eyebrow in disbelief and casting his partner a meaningful glance. His tone was calm, though subtle impatience lurked in his eyes.

Hoseok, busy on the phone on the other side of the office, raised his gaze for a moment, as if sensing the weight of his gaze on him. He quickly ended his conversation, muttering the standard 'thank you', and hung up the phone. He leaned back more comfortably in his chair and turned toward his partner to focus his attention on him.

"Since when?" Taehyung asked with evident interest, holding the phone to his ear. For a moment, he listened to the answer that came from the other side of the line. When he heard the caller's words, his expression changed noticeably, and his initial interest gave way to bitter disappointment. "Oh, for a week..." he repeated quietly, as if confirming the information that had just reached his ears. "I see," he sighed slightly, and there was a note of resignation in his tone. "In that case, there is no point in bothering him, since everything is already clear. If necessary, I will certainly get in touch again. Thank you very much for the information."

The conversation came to an end, and Taehyung put the phone down, not taking his eyes off the sheet of paper lying on the desk. There was a list of names that the Crow had mentioned on the recording on it. He hesitated for a long moment, his fingers gently tightening on the pen he held in his hand. Finally, in one decisive, almost violent motion, he crossed out the name at the very top of the list — Lee Sangjun. The ink left a dark, irreversible line that cut the name in half, as if symbolically ending something that had been hanging in the air for a long time.

"Lee Sangjun has been on his honeymoon in Europe for a week," he announced, dropping his pen on the desk and leaning back in his chair.

He sighed deeply, feeling a growing frustration. Each successive dead end reminded him how little they had in their hands. The Crow left behind only silent victims. No fingerprints, no DNA traces. Just a scrap of feather and a clean, traceless dagger. It was as if he was mocking their every move.

Hoseok, who had meanwhile walked over to his desk, reached for his favorite red mug of aromatic, still steaming coffee. He ran a hand through his dark hair, as if trying to gather his disjointed thoughts, then moved with a calm step toward his partner.

"I crossed out two," he began. He looked tired, but there was still determination hidden in his eyes. "Song Mansik is young and athletic, an ideal candidate, but two weeks ago he went climbing in the mountains. He had an accident. Now he lies broken in the hospital." He took a sip of coffee, approaching Taehyung's desk. "He underwent hip surgery, and has both legs broken," he reported, summarizing the information he had obtained so far. "In a cast, it's hard to put on sequined tights, so even if he really wanted to, he couldn't be the Crow," he added, gently giggling at his own joke.

Taehyung rolled his eyes, then returned his gaze to the paper with names.

"And Dong Hyunjun?" He asked with quiet hope, though deep in his heart he already knew the answer.
