Taehyung turned off the dryer and, after putting it back in its place, left the bathroom. He was wearing only black skinny jeans that clung to his long legs like a second skin. His chest was bare, still slightly damp from the shower he'd taken a while ago, and a slightly wet blue towel hung around his neck, the ends of which rested over his broad shoulders. He walked slowly into the bedroom and stood in front of a long floor-length mirror to carefully measure his figure. He grabbed the towel in his right hand and, taking it off his shoulders, tossed it quickly onto the bed, not even caring where exactly it landed, then ran his hand through his still-damp hair. He didn't feel like drying them thoroughly, so he just dried them just enough to keep the water from dripping onto his face and arms, letting the warm air do the rest. His hair was probably a bit too long already, but he didn't mind. On the contrary. He liked how they fell in soft waves over the dark cat eyes. Besides, he often just brushed them back with his hand, brushing them away from his face anyway, and hid them under one of the baseball caps from the extensive collection hidden in one of the drawers of the cabinet located in the bedroom. This time, however, he let his dark curls fall in natural waves, framing his handsome face. He reached for the shirt he'd ironed before getting into the shower and draped it over his broad shoulders, hiding his naked body beneath the fine fabric. Without buttoning up, he sprayed perfume on his chest and, setting the small bottle aside, began buttoning his shirt.
He had to admit he looked really good. Especially considering that he had had a bad and very tiring day. From the morning they questioned more witnesses in connection with Yihyun's case, they asked her associates about a possible relationship with Lin or even about Lin himself, but no one brought anything new to the ongoing investigation. On the contrary, after their testimony, Lin looked almost like a saint. None of the employees uttered a single bad word about younger of brothers, no one admitted to being the addressee, or even witnessing his inappropriate behavior either in the office or outside the walls of the corporation. The case stuck in place, despite the fact that for several days from morning to night they talked to all the employees, neighbors and friends of the girl. Both he and Hoseok looked through the files of old cases, but found nothing that could prove that there were more victims, and they knew very well that they would rather not count on Hyesun's testimony.
The only progress they have seen is the results of the research on the fiber found on Yihyun's body. From detailed analyses, however, they only learned that it was crocodile skin, which most likely could have been used for the upholstery of the car in which Yihyun was staying. This certainly indicated that the owner of the car must have been someone high up and certainly with a thick wallet. No BMW model, however, had such materials as standard, even the most expensive models did not use the skins of wild animals. Trade in items with crocodile skin was regulated by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, according to which the use of crocodile skin required special permits, which were not so easy to obtain. Despite several late nights, hours spent poring over data, and liters of caffeine drunk, they could not find any confirmation that Lin had placed a private order for such upholstery, or even that someone had applied for such permission on his behalf. So they had no reason to get a warrant to search the businessman's car to determine if reptile skin had been used anywhere.
