His war is fought inside his mind,
Yet to the world, he must be kind.
A man who loves, a man who stays,
Though breaking down in hidden ways.
Behind the mask, a soul does ache,
A weight is borne, for others' sake.
He wears a smile, to hide the pain,
And silently struggles, through the strain.
His heart beats strong, with a love so true,
Yet in the shadows, his demons break through.
He faces fears, that few may see,
And still he stands, in dignity.
