His laughter bright, his words so light,
Yet none may know his lonely night.
He smiles for all, he hides the ache,
Yet still, he loves for love's own sake.
A mask of joy, a heart of pain,
He wears his love, like a cloak in vain.
He searches not, for praise or fame,
But loves sincerely, with a heart that's tame.
His love is pure, his love is kind,
A love that's given, without a bind.
Though none may see, the depths of his soul,
His love remains, a love that makes him whole.
