It's the middle of a very long meeting that started an hour ago. Everyone's tired, and not too happy with Tony.
"Tony, that is going to get everyone killed!" Steve argued.
"I got Jarvis to run through all the possible different ways this could play out, we'll be fine. Don't get so worked up, Spangles." Tony retorted.
You sigh, they always act like this, it doesn't help that Tony insisted on us getting up at an ungodly hour. Natasha looks like she can't decide whether to intervene or just let them do their thing.
"Did you even consult anyone before making up your mind on doing this mission?" Steve demanded.
Tony just rolled his eyes. "Like I said, I got Jarvis to run through all possible scenarios."
You look over at Clint to see his reaction to all this. He doesn't seem at all amused. He seems.... A bit bored, and a little like he doesn't know exactly what's going on. As if his hearing aids stopped working, which is a little weird considering Bruce made him some new ones only a few weeks ago.
After a couple of weeks you start to notice a pattern, Clint's hearing aids randomly stop working. You're in the middle of talking to Thor and Clint about a TV series you just finished. Thor laughs after you say something funny.
"That's so funny." He laughs. "Tell Clint to turn his hearing aids on so he can hear it."
