You step out of your room, a slight spring in your step. Tomorrow's the second anniversary of you and Peter being a couple. Dad's throwing a huge party tonight in your honour. Honestly, you'd prefer a quiet night in watching movies and eating ice-cream. Dad didn't listen to any of your protests, so you eventually gave in. Knowing he wouldn't be moved on the subject.

You decide to dress nicely, hoping it isn't too casual. You weren't listening when he explained what was going to happen and what to wear. Gliding into the parlour, you try not to gape. Your father really went all out. Glancing around, you see that Peter has just awkwardly shuffled into the room, looking very uncomfortable in his blue tuxedo. It takes a while, but eventually he sees you. Giving you a lop-sided grin, he heads straight across the floor to you.

"This was not what I was expecting when Mr. Stark said he was planning a party for our anniversary." Peter jokes.
"Technically, our anniversary isn't until tomorrow." You say, causing Peter to pout. "But, this means that we can get tomorrow all to ourselves." Peter nods. Hearing his name being called, he turns away to find Ned and MJ waving through the crowd. He rushes over and joyfully embraces them.

Peter heads off with his friends, you're left to navigate the party by yourself. Soon enough, though, your father finds you and insists on dragging you to meet all his 'friends'. Until now, you've never even heard of these people. They seem nice enough, but having so many people looking at you spikes your anxiety and you tug a little on your dress, wishing it wasn't so tight. After a few hours, Nat comes and saves you from having to listen to your father and Ted Coughlieger talk business for another 15 minutes. She leads you over to where the rest of the team is hanging out.

"Tony can be a little overbearing, but he's just excited for you." Sam reminds you.
"Congrats! You two are an amazing couple!" Wanda says, as she comes over, giving you a huge hug. "I heard there's an amazing midnight surprise planned." You sigh.
"I was never told of a midnight surprise." Shaking your head, you spot your father in the crowd. "Well, I guess there's no time like the present, considering midnight's only 30 minutes away." You walk straight up to him, and drag him to a slightly more private spot in the corner.

"Honey, hey. What's up? Are you enjoying the party?" He asks.
"A midnight surprise? Really dad?"
"Honey, it's nothing much, really."
"Does Peter know about it?"
"Of course not, its a surprise. No one can no about it, not even you." He sighs, and glances around the crowd. "I've got to go, but please, N/n, try and have fun, this party is for you." He steps away and is instantly swamped by people who want to talk to him. You want to head outside and get some fresh air, but he's right, this party is for you. Besides, there are probably dozens of paparazzi waiting outside to get a glimpse of someone from this party. If they catch you, you'll never get a break from them.

Midnight rolls around and the whole crowd is called to a stage. You and Peter, of course, are asked onto the stage beside your father. Peter sees you as you're heading to the stairs and you walk up together. He bends down and whispers to you.
"What's going on? Why are we wanted on the stage next to Mr. Stark?"
"I don't know. There's some sort of surprise arranged. Dad refuses to tell me what it is though." You turn your attention back to the crowd and swallow nervously. The lights on the ceiling are pointed in your eyes, and you know everyone's looking in your direction. Your father, on the other hand, looks completely at ease in the spotlight. He looks directly at the crowd and speaks.
"Thank you all for coming tonight. As I'm sure that you're all well aware, tonight is my daughter, Y/n Stark, and my intern, Peter Parker's, 2nd anniversary as a couple!" The audience erupts into applause and my father waits for it to die down. You feel the tips of your ears heat and a blush creep onto your face. "In honour of this momentous occasion, I have put together a little surprise for them. Everyone, put your hands together for the new super-suits I built for them!" The audience cheers and whistles, but you just share a horrified glance at Peter. For better or worse, your father just shared your secret identities to the world.

This one was so much fun to write. I honestly didn't expect the ending, but I feel like a part two is definitely needed. If you want one, please comment and I'll write it, but it may just stay as a cliff hanger and no one will know what happens. Also, I learnt how to add pictures! Took me a little while, but it happened.

I am working on writing a story called Agent 13. It's about Yasmin Cato who gets dragged into the life of the Avengers after they land in her dimension. The Pilot Chapter should be out in a couple of weeks, so please check it out.
