Chapter 27 : The Aftermath

The door to Yoongi's chamber creaked open and Jungkook rushed inside, followed closely by Minah and Jieun. He found Yoongi curled up in a corner of the cold floor, his body trembling slightly

“Yoonie!!"  Jungkook called softly, concern etched across his face

Yoongi lifted his head and confusion clouded his eyes almost immediately . His face was red and swollen from crying and his words came out weak and shaky “Hyungie… what are you doing here? Father…”

“It’s okay!!"” Jungkook reassured him, kneeling beside him and gently pulling him into his lap “Just get up..”

Minah stepped forward, her own eyes glistening with tears “My baby…” she murmured, reaching out to stroke Yoongi’s hair  “How are you feeling, sweetheart?”

“Mother, he is weak… his omega is in distress!!"  Jungkook said, urgency lacing his voice  “We need to take him to a doctor"

“I’m fine ” Yoongi protested weakly, but the tremor in his voice betrayed him

“Mom, please check on him ” Jieun urged

Minah possessed a rare gift...one that allowed her to sense the condition of omegas and their pups. She pressed her hands against Yoongi’s abdomen, her brow furrowing in concern as she felt the subtle shifts beneath her palms “ “The pup is growing weak… It can feel your distress.baby, You need to eat and drink something first. And please, try to rest without crying anymore. You have to be strong for it"

She motioned for the servants behind her, and they quickly placed a tray with food and water on the table. Jieun grabbed a glass of juice and brought it to Yoongi’s lips

“For the pup, Yoonie… please ” she pleaded

Yoongi hesitated, his gaze flickering between the juice and the worried faces of his family. Finally, he took a small sip
“What is happening? Why are you all here? If Father knows, he will get angry.." Yoongi said, panic rising in his voice

Jungkook sighed, gently caressing Yoongi’s hair as he tried to calm him. “We have removed him from the throne, Yoonie ” Minah replied softly, her voice steady but filled with emotion  “I’ve taken on the role of temporary ruler until things settle down. It was the only way to protect you!!" She said that wit

“What?” Yoongi’s eyes widened in disbelief, shock washing over him

“It was necessary. He was acting irrationally and the council suggested it after learning everything ” she continued “And don’t worry, your alpha is on his way. He’ll be here in a few hours.”

“Father… what happens to him?” Yoongi whispered, fear flickering across his face. In that moment, he didn’t care about himself or Taheyung...only his father.

“You’re still worried about him?” Jungkook asked, frustration creeping into his voice“He was so cruel to you. He said all those hurtful things.”

“I know...but, still... it's him hyung!!" Yoongi replied softly feeling a heaviness in his heart . He knew he should be angry, that he had every right to be, but the truth was more complicated. The man who had raised him...who had sacrificed so much for him, was still the only father figure he had ever known. He couldn’t comprehend the sudden change in him, the harshness that had replaced the love he once felt. Deep down, he refused to believe that the affection he had received all those years was nothing but a facade

“Yoonie, don’t worry about that right now. Just focus on resting!!" Jieun interrupted before Yoongi would start worrying again. Then she turned to Jungkook “Kookie, please take care of him. Mother and I have to handle the situation outside… The news is spiraling out of control, and we need to address the public"
