Fray slowly stirred, subconsciously adjusting her eyes to the sunlight permeating through her blinds as she remembered last night's happenings. She immediately tapped the space behind her, only to find semi-cold sheets crumpled into a ball.

She felt sad again, just like the last time. All she wanted was to hear his raspy voice in the morning, she always wondered how will it sound like. She slowly got up, realizing she's still on the clothes she was on last night. Repugnance was all she felt since she hasn't brushed her teeth for hours and washed her face. It felt weird and dirty.

She grabbed her towel and was about to go to her bathroom when she heard a noise as she passed to her door. It was the sound of television. She grabbed the nearest thing that can be considered as a weapon (aka hairbrush) and slowly opened the door. She saw a familiar figure sitting on her couch.

"Calum?" Fray immediately got rid of the hairbrush and started to laugh. She found Calum watching morning cartoons on her couch with an immense seriousness.

"Morning." He mumbled, ignoring Fray's hysteria. "I cooked pancakes."  He shouted, as Fray entered her bathroom to freshen up before coming close to Calum.

"You left my comfortable, and warm bed for morning cartoons?" Fray judgingly questioned, slicing her pancake.

"Obviously." Calum rolled his eyes. "Besides, I like your couch more than your bed." He flipped through the channels to find other morning cartoons because the one he was watching is already finished.

"Even with me on it?"  Fray pouted, clutching her chest fakingly.

"That's a different story. Depends." Calum wiggled his eyebrows while Fray nearly choked on her pancake and slapping Calum's arm.

"I'm eating Calum, for fuck's sake."  Oddly enough, Fray talked too fast.

"Eating me? Isn't there a term for that? What is it? Blowjob?" Calum laughed loudly at his own joke, earning another slap from Fray.

"Calum!" She shot him a disgusted look and took a swig of her orange juice. He is still laughing, and she  loved it. She secretly wished that it would happen more often even if it's composed of  his dirty jokes.

"Your hair is wet?" He questioned as his laughter died.

"Yes? Because I took a bath?" She put more maple syrup on her pancake. And then butter.

Calum gasp, which confused Fray. "You didn't shave?" And then he laughed again like it was the most hilarious thing in the world.

"Stop it Calum!" She said, but Calum won't stop laughing and his laugh is so goddamn contagious, so she laughed with him; It was ages ago when Fray laughed like this. And it feels good.

"This is delicious, where did you learn to cook? I am a terrible cook."  Fray admitted as she put her knife and fork together.

"I live by myself since I was 17 and I bought cook books. Surprisingly, I didn't burn the kitchen of my apartment." Calum elaborated as he admire Fray's hair unblowered.

She just nodded and stood up to wash her plate. While Calum continued to watch cartoons, smiling to himself and mentally realizing,

"This is all I have ever wanted."

Fray thought of asking, "Don't you have something to do for today?" but it may sound that she wants Calum out of her house and besides Calum isn't that stupid to stay when he has plans.
