The moment the alarms blared, chaos erupted.

Gunfire ran through the cold, sterile hallways. Daniel shoved Ryuvyna behind the cover as bullets ricocheted off the metal walls.

"Victor! Get the damn door open!" Daniel shouted as he returned fire.

Victor knelt by the electronic lock securing Junghyun's restraints, finger flying over the keypad. "I'm working on it!"

Ryuvyna's heart pounded. Her father is weak, bruised, barely alive but watching her with weary yet sharp eyes. He wasn't just a man clinging to life. He was a Park, not Jeon.

"Ryuvyna," Junghyun rasped. "You shouldn't be here."

She clenched her jaw. "Neither should you."

The lock clicked. Victor yanked the straps loose, and Junghyun collapsed forward. Ryuvyna caught him, wrapping his arm around his shoulders.

"We need to move, now!" Jayden barked.

Daniel tossed a gun to Junghyun. "Think you can still shoot?"

Junghyun gave a dry chuckle. "I never stopped."

Jayden and Daniel took the lead, clearing the hallway as they pushed forward. Victor flanked Ryuvyna, covering their retreat. The Jeon guards were swarming in from all sides.

The facility was a death trap.

They reached the outer courtyard, but the escape car was too far.

"There's too many of them!" Victor shouted, ducking behind a crate.

Junghyun gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stand. "Give me a gun."

"You can barely walk," Ryuvyna protested.

He smirked. "Doesn't mean I can't shoot."

Reluctantly, she handed him a pistol. Junghyun steadied his breath and then fired. Three shots. Three kills. The old Park Precision.

Jayden turned to Daniel. "Cover me. We're making a run for the car."

Daniel nodded. "Ryuvyna, get him out of here!"

But before they could move, a deep voice echoed across the courtyard.

Junseok Jeon.

He stood at the entrance, flanked by heavily armed men. A cruel smirk played on his lips.

"I should've known the Parks wouldn't let their fallen king rot in peace.

Junghyun tensed beside Ryuvyna. "Junseok," he spat. "I should've killed you when I had the chance."

Junseok chuckled. "You say that, yet here you are. Weak. Barely breathing. A ghost of the you used to be."

Ryuvyna gripped her gun tighter. "Move, or we'll make you."

Junseok's eyes flickered at her. "Ah, the little Park princess. I almost forgot about you." He tilted his head. "Tell me, Ryuvyna, does your father know the truth?"

A chill ran down her spine. "What truth?"

Junseok smirked. "Oh, sweetheart. You have no idea who put your father in that cell."

Junghyun's grip on his gun tightened. "Shut your damn mouth, Junseok."

But Junseok just laughed. "Oh, you haven't told her?" His eyes gleamed with amusement. "Should I?"

Before he could say another word, a shot rang out.

Junseok's men opened fire.

"Go! Now!" Daniel roared, dragging Ryuvyna back toward the car.

Jayden covered Junghyun as they sprinted for the exit. Bullets flew, bodies fell, but they didn't stop.

The car screeched to a halt in front of them. Victor threw the doors open. "Get in!"

They piled inside, Daniel slamming on the gas. The tires screeched as they tore down the road, bullets bouncing off the armor-plated vehicle.

Junseok stood in the distance, watching them escape, his smirk never fading.

The ride back to the mansion was silent.

Ryuvyna sat beside Junghyun, her hands still shaking. He was alive and here, but Junseok's words haunted her.

Does your father know the truth?

She turned to Junghyun. "What did he mean?"

Junghyun's face was unreadable. "Not now, Ryuvyna."

"No." She grabbed his arm. "Junseok said someone betrayed you. Someone close. If it wasn't the Jeons... then who?"

Junghyun hesitated. His jaw tightened.

And then, in a voice barely above a whisper, he said,

"Jayden."

Ryuvyna's breath caught.

Jayden, who had risked everything to save her. Jayden, who had raised her when Junghyun disappeared. Jayden, who had always been by her side.

"No," she whispered, shaking her head. "That's not possible."

But Junghyun's expression was grave.

"Jayden sold me out, Ryuvyna." His eyes locked onto hers. "Your brother betrayed me."
