Synopsis: I demand more love for Mr Hood. That's it, that's literally all this is. Hood content.

This weird ghost place really kept you on edge, it was like 40% of the ghosts were evil and trying to kill you, another 40% were nice and willing to help. And that last 10% were a mixed bag you couldn't really understand the intentions of. Like Mr Gap, what was up with him? He seemingly wanted to eat your body parts, but when you said no he just... let it go. And he hid you from Mr Scarletella once too. So was he evil, or was he nice? You had no idea.

One ghost you knew for certain you could trust though, was Mr Hood. The freakishly tall, weapon wielding ghost in a brown cloak. He seemingly had no body, or maybe a body he could make disappear? Because inside that hood was... nothing. Just a void of darkness. And yet, the hood stayed up in the shape of a head. And when he'd hide you in his cloak from dangerous ghosts, you couldn't feel his body up against your back. Like he was just a floating cloak... but he had arms, so there must be some form of a body in there somehow. Whatever he was, he was helpful. Teaching you words in the strange ghost language, carrying you around, protecting you from others. Weather he liked you, or just had some innate drive to protect, you didn't really know. But you liked him.

"Human rest?"

You snapped out of your tired daze when he spoke, he'd noticed how much you'd been nodding off. You had no idea how long you'd been in this place, wandering around looking for an exit. But you'd really work yourself out, even with Hood carrying you, you'd gotten to the point you were dozing off in his arms.

"Yeah... need rest" you replied.

Rather than asking which way you'd like to go, this time he took charge and carried you down a path of halls he seemingly knew directions for. All until you ended up in a room resembling an abandoned hospital room. Though unlike the room Mr Silvair dwelled in that was more like an operating room, this one just had beds and curtains.

"Rest here" Mr Hood said, putting you down.

"Thank you" you replied with a yawn.

Taking off the bloodied raincoat and shoes, you flopped into the nearest bed exhausted.

"Me watch, protect" Hood said, stationing himself by the door.

He didn't have to do any of this for you, and yet he was willingly offering his help. So clearly, he was just an inherently nice ghost. Something about him... it was comforting.

"Thank you" you muttered, already half asleep.

And so you fell asleep, rather quickly too. You had no idea how long you'd been awake wandering around, fighting off Scarletella and Machette, looking for Mr Crawling after you got separated from him. But it felt like days, you'd not eaten or drank anything and somehow didn't feel hungry or thirsty. But you were just so tired, so the nap was absolutely needed. No clue how long you'd slept for, you eventually woke to the feeling you were being watched, and when you opened your eyes you almost had a heart attack. Hood was standing over you, looking down at you intently. Despite not seeing any eyes in that hood, you could feel his gaze.

"Ah! Geez Hood..." you muttered, rubbing your eyes.

"You rest long, worried you die" he replied.

Shit- how long were you out that he was worried you'd up and died?

"Me ok... just long rest" you assured.

You suddenly felt a cold hand on your chest, Hood reaching out and feeling for your heart beating. His shoulders relaxed slightly when he felt it, assuring himself you were still alive. You took his hand, holding it between your own and gave him a reassuring squeeze.

"Me ok" you repeated.

"Good... me worry" he replied.

So he did like you in some way... you had a feeling the ghosts here didn't really have a concept of what liking, loving and yearning was. But if he understood worry, and felt it for you, that meant he definitely felt something positive for you.

"No worry, Me ok. Thank you... for worry" you replied, trying co convey you appreciated the concern.

He was silent a moment, figuring out what you meant with those words.

"You.... Me..." he muttered, trying to figure out how to convey what he was feeling "you, me... together, good?"

Seems like he was asking if you liked him protecting you, and you sure as hell did.

"Yes. You, me together good. Me like you" you replied.

"Like me..? Me... like you" he replied.

Aw, so he DID protect you because he liked you. Although he seemed a little unsure, like he'd never felt this way before and while he liked it, it was confusing him. You couldn't help but smile, feeling oddly loved and appreciated by him. Never thought you'd be giggling over a ghost liking you, but here you were. Despite the lack of a face in that hood, you could feel him... smile almost. The subtle shift in his body language let him know that he was smiling and happy in that void of a hood. It made your heart skip a beat... how could you ever leave him? You'd grown so attached and while you were dying to get home, you honestly couldn't imagine life without your hooded protector.

"Me escape... you come with?" You asked.

He seemingly took a moment to think, like he'd never even considered he could leave this place before. Who knew how long he'd been here? But in truth... he didn't want you to leave without him. That'd mean he'd be alone with the rest of the ghosts again, and only some of them were nice, trustworthy creatures.

"Me... come with you" he agreed, earning a bright smile from you.

Now you were just even more determined to find the exit, because if you could bring one of the nice ghosts home, not only would you not be so lonely, you'd have a permanent body guard.

Hood picked you up, cradling you in his arms ready to carry you around looking for the exit again, you wrapped your arms around then shape of his shoulders under the hood. Could you kiss him? Did he even have a face to kiss? Out of sheer curiosity, you peeked into the hood slightly, feeling his gaze on you. Kissing the air on the inside of the hood as if kissing his cheek seemed to get a reaction from him, he tensed slightly in shock.

"What...?" He asked.

"Kiss. Human kiss because like you" you replied.

He paused a moment, processing the new information again. And somehow, despite the void in his hood, you managed to feel something against your cheek when he turned his hood to you and leaned in slightly. A kiss on the cheek from his seemingly invisible lips.

"Me... kiss you" he muttered, a slight shyness in his tone.

Oh yeah, you HAD to take him home with you.
