Saud's POV – The Truth Unveiled
The moment Uzair told him everything, Saud felt his world tilt.
A heavy silence stretched between them, thick with everything left unsaid. His fingers clenched around the phone, his breath sharp and uneven.
Amirah.
A stalker. A setup. Expulsion. And now—a proposal?
His grip tightened. "Say that again."
Uzair exhaled, his voice strained. "Saud, I should've told you earlier—"
"No," Saud's voice was deadly calm, the kind of quiet that carried the weight of a storm about to break. "Say it again."
Uzair hesitated. "Ahad proposed to her... to keep her in the U.S."
Something inside Saud snapped.
Heat crawled up his spine, settling into a dangerous kind of anger. His jaw clenched so tight it hurt. His mind replayed everything Uzair had just told him—how Amirah had been suffering while he was kept in the dark. How she had been pushed into a corner with no way out.
And no one told him.
Not Uzair. Not Ahad.
Not even her.
He forced himself to speak, voice low and controlled. "You knew she was being stalked. You knew she was framed. And you didn't once think to tell me?"
Uzair sighed. "I thought I could handle it."
Saud let out a sharp, humorless laugh. "You thought?" His fingers curled around the armrest of his chair, his patience thinning with every passing second. "You let her go through all of that alone? While I was sitting miles away, thinking everything was fine?"
"It wasn't like that—"
"It was exactly like that." His voice cut through the air like a blade. "And now, after everything, you expect me to just sit back while she marries Ahad?"
Uzair hesitated. "It's her only way to stay."
Saud inhaled sharply, his chest burning. His head pounded with the weight of it all—Amirah's fear, her silence, the way she must have felt when no one believed her.
And now, they wanted her to settle? To tie herself to someone just because she had no choice?
His blood roared in his ears.
"I have to go," he muttered, voice strained.
"Saud—"
He cut the call before Uzair could finish.
For the first time in a long time, Saud felt helpless.
And he hated it.
——————————————————————Saud's POV – A Race Against Time
The anger had settled, but the restlessness remained.
Saud ran a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply as he stared at his phone. He had tried calling Uzair again. No answer. Tried Ahad. Nothing. Even Kashish. Silence.
A heavy weight pressed against his chest.
He dialed another number. This time, his mother picked up.
"Saud?" Her voice was tense, tired.
"Where is everyone?" His voice was calmer now, but there was still an edge to it.
"They're here," she said. "We're discussing it."
Discussing it.
Saud clenched his jaw. "Don't rush into anything," he said, his voice firm. "Wait for me."
"Saud—"
"Just wait," he repeated, his patience thinning. "Don't let them make any decisions until I get back."
There was silence on the other end. Then, finally, she sighed. "Come home soon."
The call disconnected, but his unease only grew.
Because while he was asking them to wait—on the other hand—things were already slipping out of his control.

– Too Late? The moment he put his phone down, something felt off. A nagging, suffocating weight settled in his chest, pressing harder with each passing second.
His fingers twitched over his phone again, hesitation creeping in. He should call back. Make sure they actually waited.
But before he could, his phone buzzed.
A message from Uzair.
"She said yes."
For a second, everything went still.
Then, a slow, cold realization sank in.
His breath hitched. His grip on the phone tightened.
He was too late.
Amirah had agreed. The decision was made.
His vision blurred for a second, something sharp twisting in his chest.
He should've been there.
Should've stopped it.
But now...
Now, she was about to become someone else's.
