Nightmares

Tony: You and Tony both have trouble sleeping for the full night as he works until all late hours and you can't sleep properly without him. Then of course the nights where one of you have a nightmare, then you two go to the main living room by the fire and things usually end up getting heated ;) - do you see what I did there

Steve: Steve wakes up when he hears you whimpering in your sleep, he gently wakes you up and cuddles you as you two talk about anything and everything. He knows how bad nightmares can be sometimes as he has nightmares about losing people he cares about, in the past or future.

Clint: When you wake up breathing heavily and sweating, you startle Clint and he automatically scans the room for danger. Once he realises why you woke up he snuggles you into his side and rubs your arm slowly until you calm down and fall asleep.

Natasha: I already wrote something for 'Waking Up' that goes well here... She gets really bad nightmares and flashbacks around two or three, sometimes she wakes up screaming, crying and sweating. You don't bother asking her what they are about because you have a pretty good idea, you calm her down and you two go back to sleep or watch tv.

Bruce: When Bruce wakes up after having a nightmare he immediately goes to the lab, being especially quiet so he doesn't wake you, not knowing that you wake up as soon as you feel his warmth leave. You grab your current reading book and follow him to the lab, where you sit at his desk reading as he does calculations for something.

Thor: Thor sleeps like a rock but somehow he always knows when nightmares disturb your sleep. He wakes you up and pulls you onto his chest with his arms wrapped around your frame, he talks about Asgard and the battles he's been in until you calm down. He kisses you and you both go back to sleep.

Loki: You jump awake when you hear him shouting in his sleep. "Stop... I'm sorry... No, stop" You shake him awake and he clings to you, while you cuddle him and start humming a random song. Eventually he falls asleep or decides he's going to read wile you sleep.

Bucky: He usually gets nightmares about torture, brainwashing and the people he's killed. He wakes up with tears in his eyes. You grab his hands and pull him up to the middle of your bedroom, wrap your arms around his neck and slowly dance. When he wraps his arms around you and dances with you, that's when you know he's calmed down.

Pietro: When he wakes up to you crying in your sleep, he tightens his arms around and kisses you gently. When you wake up he wipes away your tears and draws circles on your back while singing an old Sokovian song, you drift off and he joins soon after.

Wanda: Her nightmares are almost always about the battle of Sokovia except this time Pietro dies in her arms. You reassure her that he is alive and healthy while looking into her eyes. She thanks you and snuggles into your side going back to sleep.
