Avengers: Preferences/Imagines

Christmas

In this preference the reader isn't in a relationship with any of the avengers.

You woke up to Pietro speeding in your room bouncing on your bed and Wanda hitting you with pillows, "I'm up, i'm up Piet stop jumping." He grabbed Wanda and ran out shouting. "WE'RE OPENING PRESENTS, HURRY!!" You jumped out of bed, put on your fluffy socks and walked into the main living area where all your friends had gathered. Observing them all for a moment you saw, Tony on the phone with Pepper who had gone to Washington for a business conference, they were talking about the present she received and when she would be back so they could celebrate together. Thor was telling Natasha about his recent visit to Asgard where he introduced Jane to his mother and met Loki's new fling, Clint was watching Wanda and Pietro sort the gifts into individual piles for everyone. Bucky was snuggled on the couch drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows, Steve was trying to get Bruce to put on what had to be the cutest Christmas jumper you had ever seen.

After everyone had opened their gifts the room was a mess, wrapping paper everywhere. Tony had got a load of band t-shirts and one Captain America shirt that totally wasn't from Steve -totally- Steve had a bottle of Asgardian liquor -the only thing that can get him drunk- from Thor, Clint got new custom made arrows with some kind of high tech stuff from Tony, Natasha got a few dresses and a thigh holster for a gun. Bruce got things for his lab that have long names and no-one but him and Tony know what they do. Everyone pitched in to buy Thor a years worth of pop tarts and judging by the girly squeal he let out, he's pretty happy. Bucky got his own room in the Avengers Tower and a new suit that's a little less black. Pietro got new running gear while Wanda got dresses, skater skirts and a pair of boots, Tony sent Pepper a pair of diamond earrings and a teardrop ruby necklace. You got tickets to see your favourite artist/band, a spa weekend for you and the girls as well as the complete seasons from your favourite show.

Dinner wasn't as hectic as you thought it would be, the long table was big enough to seat everyone comfortably and everyone was having a good time. Mountains of food covered the table and smiles graced the faces of all your friends. Tony made a speech with only one inappropriate comment -new record- and laughter filled the air as Pietro whizzed by taping Tony's mouth shut. At the end of the night when you were all watching christmas movies and snuggled up in the sofas and floor Wanda spoke in a gentle voice, "Merry Christmas everyone." This caused everyone to simultaneously respond by saying 'merry christmas' to all the people surrounding them. It really was a great day, and avengerschristmas.
