6. Just kiss me already.

Tony was throwing yet another of his parties for no apparent reason, with a bunch of people you didn't even know. The man himself was trying to get Bucky and Steve to have an arm wrestling contest and poor Pepper was called over to stop him, she left the group of girls which consisted of her, Wanda and Maria who started laughing at Tony's antics. Clint couldn't attend as he had decided to go home to his wife and children for the weekend; Bruce and Natasha were dancing -a little awkwardly on his part- in the centre of the room where all the random strangers appeared to have drifted off to drink, laugh and grind on each other. Pietro was of course in the middle of everything with girls watching with excitement as he whizzed about, returning with drinks for all of them.

'At least he's having a good time'  you thought, envying the older Maximoff twin for being happy as he wasn't in your predicament. Your attention was unfortunately dragged back to the red-head girl with big brown eyes that was going on and on about something to do with which shoes she wore tonight, she had been talking your ear off since the party first started well over an hour and a half ago so you decided you were allowed a little break from her chatter. She took a sip of her wine and before she could change the subject to something else to do with fashion you interrupted, "I'm sorry, hold that thought I think I'm going to get a drink. Excuse me." Making your way to the bar you noticed Wanda joining you, her eyes sparkling with amusement and a smirk gracing her lips. "Having fun?"     "I don't know if I'd say 'fun' exactly I feel like this is punishment for something I've done." A giggle escaped her at that and you ordered Jack Daniels and coke, appreciating this time before you inevitably had to go back and talk to the young woman. "Kiss me!" Almost choking on the air around you, your head whipped to Wanda in surprise, "What!"      "She's coming over and Nat told me that public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable, she'll think you're not interested in her."       "Firstly, I don't see how kissing is going to fix this and Secondly, no I am not interested in -" She interrupted you by grabbing your face in her delicate hands and whispered "Just kiss me already." and you did just that.

At first the kiss was weird I mean it's not like you hadn't thought about what it would be like to kiss her before but she was your friend and you didn't want to do anything to ruin that. After a few seconds you both seemed to melt into the kiss and only broke apart once you heard wolf whistling you assumed came from Tony. Eyes opening you saw that the girl had now disappeared but scanning the rest of the room she had joined the other females gathering around the speedster. Turning back to Wanda you found her already gazing at you and a blush crawled up your neck as a smirk once again made it's was to her mouth that you couldn't seem to look away from."Told you so."        "Shut up." Your hands grabbed hers and pulled her to your lips efficiently silencing any response she had.
