San's POV

I try to act cool while I feel my hands slightly trembling. I have to find Wooyoung's sister.

I've tracked down so many people just for the money but this time it's much more important, and I have no clue where to start.

Wooyoung is still standing in the middle of the living room, sheepishly looking at me, tired from the early hour and the lack of sleep, but after I sit down, he does follow me.

'Can you do that for me?'

His nervous voice is making my hand tremble more, but I put it in my pocket to hide it from him.

'Of course I can', I say, but I'm not sure of anything, 'After all, it's part of my job'

He looks relieved, the hint of worry slowly clearing from his face. It calms me down knowing my act worked and he'll be able to sleep at least a bit.

'Tell me everything you know about her'

He's sitting across from me, the ten feet we're apart feel like too much.

'What don't you already know?'

'I really don't know that much, just start from the beginning', I surprise myself in how soft my voice sounds.

'So...', he hesitates a bit and I lean forward on the couch to try and make sure I don't miss a single word, 'She ran away after my stepdad... abused her. But I know she had a boyfriend at the time, I don't know much about him, only that he was rich and that he hated his father'

'Would you recognize him if you saw him now?'

'I mean, I've seen him only once or twice, but I think I'd still know his face'

'And when did she leave, exactly?', I can see how much Wooyoung is struggling to talk about her, but he's also trying to hide it, which makes me worry if he can look underneath my mask as easily as I can see through his.

'I was 13 when she left, and it was in October'

I can't keep this space between us anymore and stand up to go sit next to him. I wrap my arm around him, and he seems to calm down a bit at my touch. It makes me feel better than ever knowing he's comfortable around me.

'We'll find her', I assure him.

'Thank you', he whispers before his eyes slowly close, and his body relaxes into my embrace.

I give him a kiss on the forehead and pick him up, careful not to wake him, carrying him to my bedroom and gently putting him down on the bed.

Wooyoung's POV

I open my eyes, only inches away from San's, who looks like he's barely slept.

'Good morning', I whisper.

He smiles when he realizes I'm awake, and I smile back at him, knowing I haven't slept this tightly in ages.

'Good morning', he whispers back.

'I'm sorry... For tonight'

His eyes grow wider, 'Don't be, I'm glad you woke me up'

'Thank you', I instantly feel a bit less guilty about waking him up in the middle of the night, but the feeling doesn't quite disappear.

He comes closer to me, giving me a light kiss on the forehead before sitting up, but something in me tells me I don't want him to leave.

'Don't', I mumble in a sleepy voice while tugging at his bare arm to get him to lay back down.

He smiles, 'It's 10 AM'

'I don't care'

He doesn't hesitate anymore, laying back down, wrapping his arms around me and I can clear my head, just enjoying the warmth of his embrace and the feeling of his body next to mine.

I'm still wearing my clothes from yesterday, being a simple shirt and black trainers while San sleeps in his boxers, allowing me to feel his bare skin on and run my hands over his back, calming me down.
