Becky's pov.

Dread as if, started to replace the oxygen that was going down in my respiratory system. I glimpsed at Heng for a second, who was staring back at the bloodied spots on the body bag with the same terror on his features.

"Cha Eun-woo. 51. The staff says he was breathing when they found him, syringe lodged in his eye." One officer, who stood in front of us, spoke to another in hushed tones. A haunting chill moved down my spine.

Eun-woo....Eun-woo as in the nurse I'd met several times during my visits. My disarmed gaze landed on the many figures that stood grouped behind the body. I spotted a familiar face crying.

"Jung-min." I called out softly. She sniffed as she looked up at me, only to have fresh tears roll down her cheeks again. I walked with wariness, my surroundings still not making any sense to me.

"What happened?!" I breathed harshly as I reached over to Jung-min.

Jung-min shook her head frantically, "Eun-woo...he's....he's..." She began bawling her eyes out again. I took her hand into mine, rubbing small little motions onto it, as if that would make her feel better.

"How?" My voice came out only as a broken whisper. Jung-min wiped the moisture from her cheeks, sniffling, "It's F....Freen Chankimha...."

My mind was left blank. With the rapid throb that emitted throughout, I couldn't comprehend what Jung-min was saying.

Freen. The person who I gave my virginity to. Killed, Again.

I felt as if I'd been shattered to pieces. The halo of hope in me had been dusted with pitch darkness.

"And....and...Freen....?" I muttered precariously, when I finally recovered back my ability to form some basic coherent speech.

Jung-min looked at me with pure trepidation.

"She.....Freen escaped."
