Luke said he would be over to pick me up for 'dinner' at seven o'clock. It was six-fifty and I was sitting on my bed, looking out the window. My mum walked in every two minutes to make sure I was ready. She seems more excited than I was. I can't blame her thought, if I had an anti-social daughter that finally went out the house to spend time with a boy than I'd be pretty freaking excited too.

My phone buzzed and I pick it up, glances at the name flashing on my phone. I rolled my eyes and read the text.

MichaelThePunkRocker: Hey! Are you nervous about your date?

Me: It is NOT a date -_- and no.

MichaelThePunkRocker: Well, it kinda IS a date if it's just you and him.

Me: Not necessary, Clifford.

MichaelThePunkRocker: Umm yes, James.

Me: Go away.

MichaelThePunkRocker: You're the one replying.

Me: I hate you.

MichaelThePunkRocker: You love me ;)

MichaelThePunkRocker: Oh shit! I'm so sorry! I forgot you love Luke.

Me: No, I'd love you but you love Alex and that wouldn't be fair to my best friend. #OTP :D

MichaelThePunkRocker: I hate you.

I laughed looking at his last text, wiping the tear in my eyes from laughing. Being careful not to smudge my eyeliner. I was interrupted by a car door closing outside, I peeked out and saw Luke getting out and fixing his jacket before walking to my front door.

I hurried and glanced at myself in the mirror one last time. Luke had asked me not to get too dressy and told me to dress casual and that's exactly what I did. I literally just threw on a light pink top from forever 21 and a pair of white skinny jeans.

"Ellie! Luke's here!" My mother called from downstairs, as I ran to pick up my phone and wallet off the bed.

"I'm coming!" I call, rushing down the stairs and into the kitchen where Luke was leaning against the counter.

"Hey." He smiled, pushing himself up and walking over to me.

"Let's get over with this." I grabbed his wrist and pulled him out the kitchen.

"Told you she'd react like this." He told my mum and shrugged, making my mum laugh. I turned and glared at both of them.

"Bye Mum!" I call before leaving the house and following Luke to the car.

He pulled out his keys and unlocked it, running over and getting into the drivers seat. It's not like I expected him to open the door for me, but at least he could have done it to look less like an asshole.

"Where are we going?" I ask, climbing into the passenger seat that I've become so used to.

"A little restaurant that I thought you'd like." He shot me a smile and started up the car.

"How do you know what I'd like?" I raised my eyebrows at him and waited for his reply.

"I think I know you well enough, Eliza." He laughed, driving down the street and focusing on the road. I stared at him blankly, not saying a word. Just stared at him.

"What?" He looked over, confused and I just stared at him.

"You didn't say 'James'..." I mumble, kinda of embarrassed of my answer.
