Alec was released the next day. He walked in to his house, Magnus behind him, helping him, since Alec still had crutches. For even longer, now. They were alone, which Alec was shocked of. He figured their friends would be there. "For now on, we are wrapping you in bubble wrap. Easily you can avoid deadly situations." Magnus nodded a little, causing Alec to laugh a little. Alec moved over to the couch, taking a seat, resting the crutches against the arm of the couch. Magnus sat down next to him, arm around him. "So, Magnus. We're together again?" Alec asked, looking up at him. Magnus shrugged, "I don't like to say we ever broke up. But, in all reality, yes. I'm not going to let someone else tell me I can't love you." Alec smiled, resting his head against his chest. "Can I ask you something?" He whispered. Magnus nodded a little, "yeah, of course.
Alec looked up at him. "Why haven't I met your family?"
Alec suddenly felt Magnus tense from underneath him. He even looked disturbed by that question. "No, Alexander." Magnus muttered. Alec frowned. Being his stubborn self, though, he kept pushing. "Well why not? You met mine. Shouldn't your parents know you're in a relationship? Have you even mentioned be to them-"
"I don't see my parents much anymore. They-" Magnus exhaled and shook his head. "They aren't good people. I'm not going to bring you in to that."
Alec nodded a little, sort of understanding. "Okay then." He shrugged slightly, leaning forward and grabbing the remote, trying to change the subject. "What do you want to watch?" He asked Magnus.
"Doesn't matter. Whatever you want." Alec turned to a random channel, tossing the remote on the couch, head back against Magnus's chest. He still couldn't get rid of the sudden curiosity for Magnus's past. Why wouldn't he just tell him completely? What is that bad? Alec didn't like Magnus hiding things from him.
That night, Jace, Clary, Simon, and Isabelle walked inside the house. Alec was seen on the couch, straddling Magnus's waist while furiously making out with him. Magnus was about to slip Alec's shirt off, when they noticed their friends at the door. "Shit," Alec moved off Magnus right away, and Magnus sat up agains, wrapping his arm around Alec's shoulders, acting as if they were just watching some television. "Oh, hey, guys," Magnus nodded a little at them. "Just, uh, watching some tv," Alec nodded, trying to keep a straight face.
Jace suddenly cracked up. "Oh, you're kidding, just some tv?! Yeah. Okay. Don't worry, we didn't see much." They all walked in, causing Alec to roll his eyes. Simon stepped forward, "Alec, woah, didn't you and Magnus, like, you know-"
Alec gave Simon a look. "We have a lot to explain to you guys. Sit." Alec demanded, sitting up from where he was leaning against Magnus.
Clary took a seat with Jace on the couch, Simon and Isabelle on the end of the couch. "Sebastian forced me to." Magnus explained. They all looked shocked. "Sebastian? But, isn't he gone?" Clary asked, confused. "That's what we thought. Well, what you all thought. I tried to tell you, but no one listens," Alec shrugged. Isabelle scoffed, "oh please."
Jace sighed, "it was just difficult to. We were for sure he was gone, and we didn't want anyone getting worried over nothing."
"Meanwhile, I was the one worried." Alec nodded. Jace shrugged, "yeah, I guess so."
"So what does this mean now?" Isabelle questioned, confused. Alec shrugged, "this guy is crazy, okay. Basically, we're dead."
"Why can't we just tell the police?" Isabelle asked.
"We can't. He's capable of a lot. We can't risk anything." Magnus nodded.
Isabelle stood, "so we're just going to sit here and wait for him to find us?!"
Jace rolled his eyes, "Izzy, sit down-"
"Shut it, Jace."
Jace immediately shut up, looking at her in awe. Isabelle looked back at everyone. "We have to go out and do something!"
Alec gave her a confused look, "Izzy, he's not the same Sebastian he was in elementary school. He's gotten worse. He could seriously kill us. For real this time, not just threatening to stab me with a pencil and scratch my eyes out with a red crayon."
Magnus looked over at Alec, "he's always been a psycho?"
Alec nodded, "clearly, yes, he has."
"But if he escaped that place we thought he was put in to, it means he wants revenge." Clary stated.
"Which means he's not playing this time." Alec explained, shrugging a little. "Hey, I say," he raised his hand, "we go buy our tombstones now. We could even write messages on them, sign each other's, you know," Alec stood, but Magnus grabbed his arm arm pulled him back down. "Okay, I'm sitting again." Alec murmured, nodding. "Alec. This isn't a joke." Isabelle snapped. "She's right, you know," Magnus told him quietly. Alec looked over at him, "we can't show we're afraid, that's what he wants. Therefor, we can't let it get to us."
"Alec, we could be dead by the end of the week." Clary nodded.
"Only if we think like that. Only if we're afraid and act like its the end of the world. We all need to calm down."
Jace nodded a little, "yeah, have a little faith."
They all gave him a weird look, except Alec. "See? That's the type of uplifting attitude we all need." Alec nodded.
"You're crazy, Jace," Simon nodded, looking at him, confused.
"You're being paranoid," Jace went back at him. "You all are. Alec's right."
Alec smiled proudly, "wow. Haven't heard that in a while."
Jace rolled his eyes, "hey, I explained why we didn't believe you." He smirked.
Alec stood and went over to Jace, leaning over toward him, "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you. I'm what?" He grinned.
Jace rolled his eyes, "I said you're right."
Alec looked confused. "I'm what? One more time?"
Jace rolled his eyes and slapped Alec, causing him to yelp and stumble, holding his cheek. "Ow! Jace!" Alec snapped.
Jace smirked and shrugged, "sorry. My hand slipped."
