"Where's the knife, Sam?" Lilith asked.
"On the nightstand. By the bed."
Lilith began walking toward the bed, then stops. She stoops down and lifted the rug underneath it was a Devil's Trap. She touched it with her fingernail and it burned off.
"You're gonna have to try a lot harder than that."
"How 'bout this?" I reached out a hand and cocentrated on her. A wind rose and blew her hair back, but nothing else. She didn't even flinch.
"You're strong. But you're not that strong. Not yet."
"So why don't you throw me around then?" I knew the answer I just wanted to hear it from her lips.
"Because I can't and you know it. You're immune to my charms. Seems we're at a stalemate."
"Why are you here?"
"To talk." I scoffed
"Yeah, well, I'm not interested."
"Hmm... even if I'm offering to stand down? From the seals... the apocalypse.. all of it?"
"You expect me to believe that?"
"Honestly? No. You were alwasy the smart one. But it's the truth. you can end it, Sam. Right here, right now. I'll stop breaking the seals, Lucifer keeps rotting in his cage. All you have to do is agree to my terms."
"Why would you back down? Why now?" It didn't make sence.
"Turns out, I don't survive this war. Killed off, right before the good part starts."
"What do you want?"
"For it to go back to the way it was. Before I had angels to deal with 24/7. The good old days, when it was all baby blood all the time."
"And what do you want in return?" That was the dreading question.
"Your head on a stick. Dean's too. Call it a consolation prize. So what do you say, Sam? Self-sacifice is the Winchester way, isn't it?"
"You really think I'm stupid enough to fall for this?" She thought I was stupid didn't she?
"I make a deal, I have to follow through. Those are the rules, and you know it. Are you really that arrogant that you would put your life before the lives of six billion innocent people? Maybe it's all that demon blood pumping through your pipes. Man after my own heart."
"You think I'm like you? I am nothing like you." I fumed.
"Then prove it. Going once." She turned and walked over to the bed. "Going twice."
"Fine." I didn't want anyone to die execpt her.
"Swell. By the way, a contract with me will take more than a kiss." She sat down on the bed. "A lot more. Don't worry. The dental hygienist in here? She wants it bad." She patted the bed.
ERIKA'S POV
"Come on hurry up." I didn't want Sam to bang that devilish chick. When we did get in Chuck had a wonderful idea let's just yell 'I am the prophet Chuck!' Could that sound any more funny.
"You've got to be joking." Lilith said unconvinced. She left Sam's side and approached Chuck.
"Oh, this is no joke." I said. The room started to tremble, and a white light poured in through the windows. "You see, Chuck here's got an archangel on his shoulder. You've got about 10 seconds before this room is full of wrath and you're a piece of shit ass demon charcoal. You sure you want to tangle with that?" I finished.
Lilith gave Sam one final look, then poured out of her vessel's mouth.
"Well, that went well." Dean said trying to break the moment.
I raced out to the truck afraid Dean might ask me about 'How do you know Cas.' crap and more crap.
