I was in the bedroom with my head in my hands. What if I could? No, that wouldn't work. I tried and tried to find ways to get out of anyone dying. None, zip, notta. Not a damn thing. Castiel and I just have to keep looking. I know we can find something... anything.
"Hey, girly." Wings fluttered next to me and the bed tilted to the side because of the new weight.
"Don't call me that." I said smiling. "Hey, dad."
"So, what is tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum up to?"
"Looking for a case." I replied, I tried not to laugh at his silly nicknames for them.
"I could make one." He wiggled his fingers. "Or pretend to."
"No, no one is gonna go missing or die." I argued, shaking my head.
"Why can't I have some fun?"
"Oh, Gabe... Dad, why haven't you gone up to heaven?" I ignored the question and moved on to a subject I was wanting to know about.
"Because of my own reasons." He dodged."Okay, well-" I started.
"ERIKA WE FOUND SOMETHING!" Dean yelled up, interuppting my conversation. I closed my eyes and tried not to get too angry. I breathed in deeply and let it out through my nose.
"OKAY! BE DOWN IN A MINUTE!" I yelled back. Well then leave it to Dean to ruin moment. "I gotta go gank some sons of bitches."
"Don't get hurt." he looked up at me when I got up. I let my arms slump at my sides and huffed."I won't and if I do, I have an angel on my shoulder." I punched his arm playfully and forced a smile before straightening my back and breathing in to puff up my chest. "See ya later."
"Stay safe." He flew away. I wonder if I could so that? I'll try it later.
"ERIKA, WHATEVER THE HELL YOUR MIDDLE NAME IS, RODREGUIZ!" Dean yelled yet again.
"I'M COMING DOWN YOU TWIT!" I took the sleeves of my shirt and pulled them down onto my hands and slid down the stairs by sliding on my palms and the railings. "And it's Erika Maria Carrie Rodreguiz."
"Well then. We have a few hunts that just sprouted up and we have to split up." Sam said. "It's not for sure but something around the lines of Jen and I. You, Cas, and Dean. Then Krissy and Bobby."
"Don't call me Krissy." Kirsten muttered and crossed her arms. I laughed a real laugh, man that hasn't happened enough. "Kris or Kristen."
"Okay, uh, what are we going after?" Castiel asked.
"You get demons and a lot of them." Kristen pursed her lips and looked from Dean to Cas to me.
"Well, don't sugar coat it, Kris." I retorted.
"Sorry. Sam and Jen, you have a spirit I think. And Bobby and I will be going through books reading about Lucifer and Michael."
"Great. See you later." I said then squeezed my eyes shut focusing on trying to fly out. I heard chuckles and people shifting their weight onto the other foot waiting for me to stop whatever I was doing. I opened my eyes and saw Castiel's head in his hands. Sam was biting on his lip. "Sorry, uh, trying out some new things..."
"Oh, Erika, I think it will be interesting to hunt with you. But don't try to do that when we are trying to save people from some demons." Dean said.
"I won't, Dean. I just wanted to try it out." I walked away and out the door of Bobby's small house. "See you in the impala!"
Dean followed me closely. "We aren't taking the impala. Cas is gonna... fly us." He looked nervous.
"Okay... I'm fine with that. Are you fine with your boyfriend doing that?" He smacked me upside the head.
"Why did you hit her, Dean?" Castiel asked and I laughed as Dean tried explaining.
"Uh, reasons." Castiel reached out to us and touched our foreheads.
DEAN'S POV
Cas reached out and put his fingers on my head. Erika looked relatively calm in this situation. Well, it is her cousin. She respects him and trusts him. The surroundings changed. We were standing in the middle of an open field. Son of a bitch, there was demons everywhere. "Let's go."
ERIKA'S POV
"Let's go." Dean said. I could see all the demons. It's like I could feel them too. Little by little I counted up around 30 demons. Why were they all here? There was one thing in the middle of the field we were standing in. A gravestone. Who the hell's would that be? This looked familer though. Like it's from a dream. Oh, my God. It's from my dream. Dean gasped at the gravestone. He must recognize it. "Cas, is that-?"
"Yes." He answered an angel blade slide into his hand.
"Are they here for me?"
"Maybe I don't know. We'll find out soon." He attacked the now running demons. I did something I didn't think I could do. The memories of the dream came flooding back, so I flared up. Like my hand just caught on fire. The whole hand. I could touch the fire and it didn't hurt. Well then, let's kill some asswipes and raise a little hell.
