" Baby, I forgot to tell you this. Your previous pack members demanded we send one of their pack omega back with them. We are not sure who they were asking for but now that I know you and Mingyu are from that pack, they are asking for either of you. Today in the general meeting, we told them we wouldn't allow it to happen. They are so stubborn and we have no idea how to make them leave without fighting them. I think they didn't know that both of you are mated." says Jin.

" Yes, hyung. Even when they met me in the woods, we weren't mated then. Thanks to Yoongi hyung, they left soon. But what would we do about Mingyu, hyung?"

Jin holds Jungkook's hands, " The General pack members will never allow other pack members to come here and take back their members who were once their pack members. Most of them in this territory are from different packs, some are even from packs that belong to regions too far from this forest. We all have our reasons that we are here far from our birth packs. That's exactly what makes the packs in this forest special. So the general pack will never ask or allow any of us to leave just because the birth pack demands them. We will protect our territory and its members even if it means we'll have to fight them."

" So, don't worry about Mingyu. He is safe here. We've already informed all the pack about the commotion that happened today. And tomorrow we'll inform Mingyu's pack again." Jin added.

Jungkook looks at Jin, " I hope everything settles down quickly and they leave the forest soon."

"Yeah. They'll leave soon. Also, I forgot to ask you this baby. Why were so nervous around me after my rut? Did I hurt you during my rut?" Jin asks worriedly.

Jungkook doesn't look at Jin. Jungkook thinks about the discussion he had with Jimin and Tae so he doesn't waste time and tells Jin exactly how he felt about Jin's wolf during his rut.

" Oh, I'm so sorry Jungkook-ah. I'm sorry, I should've communicated with my wolf properly before letting him completely take control of the situation. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. He looks intimidating but he is a sweet guy. Also, our rut and heat will sync soon so he'll take care of his omega properly unlike his first time. I'm really sorry baby." says Jin sighing.

" That's okay yeobo. I should've talked to you about this sooner instead of overthinking and avoiding talking to you about it." smiles Jungkook.

" Yeah, why were taking so much time to talk about it with me? Am I making it difficult for you to talk to me about how you feel?" Jin's curiosity was piqued.

Jungkook looking down says, " Yeobo, a-about that. A-after the moon festival, I saw many similarities with you and your wolf. You were completely different, unlike your usual goofy nature. You were intimidating and people from different packs respected you so much. And seeing all of this made me question myself if I am w-worthy to be your m-mate–"

" Don't you dare complete that sentence"

Jungkook stopped and he made the mistake of looking at Jin who had his eyebrows scrunched up. Jungkook understands Jin is not happy just by looking at his face.

"Wow, my fated mate did not just question himself but questioned the moon goddess of her decision."

Jin continues, " How could you think about being worthy when you are all I want in a mate? Why would you even think something like that? Baby, you are the best mate one could ask for. Also, why do I feel like my baby is questioning his worthiness all of a sudden just because some idiots from his previous pack told him some nonsense?"

Jungkook doesn't look at Jin and tears are welling up his eyes.

" I love you so much, baby. I'll make sure my wolf treats you right. And about me being different around others is because I don't trust others easily. Having two omegas who are your childhood friends and trying to keep them safe for so long had made me not trust anyone easily. You are my mate and I trust you so much to be myself around you and our pack. I'll be the same with you as always, baby."

Jungkook hugs Jin immediately and pulls Jin for a kiss.

" Never ever question your worth baby." Jin kisses him again and soon the kiss escalates and they end up spending the night making up for all those days of misunderstanding.

In Yoongi-Tae bedroom

Yoongi starts kissing Tae but suddenly tae notices his mate's scent is missing and stops kissing. " Hyung why is your scent missing?" asks Tae.

" Oh. I didn't realize that. Maybe it's because I had a long day today. I'll be okay tomorrow."

Tae doesn't look convinced but nods. " Okay, hyung. Let's just sleep then. We have so much to deal with tomorrow."

"Yeah. Goodnight baby" says Yoongi and pulls Tae towards his chest and both doze off.

Next day:

Namjoon's excitement can be heard miles away from the den. " I'm so happy Jiminah. Everyone is going to be so happy about the news. I can't wait to tell everyone–"

"What do you want to tell us? Also, what are you so excited about hyung?" asks Tae soon joining the throuple. Yoongi joins them too.

"Jimin is pregnant" shouts Hoseok. Jimin blushes.

Tae and Yoongi both rush to hug Jimin. " We are so happy Jimin-ah–"

" What's it about Jimin that made you this happy?" asks Jin who just entered the living with Jungkook.

Namjoon and Hobi inform Jin and Jungkook of the happy news.

"Finally," says Jin and hugs Jimin. Jimin grins. Jungkook then says, " I'm so happy hyung. Can't wait to see the baby, hyung."

Everyone is so happy and then Jin notices something.

" Tae, your scent changed too," says Jin looking at Tae. Jin then looks at Yoongi, " Didn't you notice the change?"

"I-I don't–" starts Yoongi but is interrupted by Jin.

" Why couldn't I feel your scent Yoongi-ah?"

" I noticed the change in Tae's scent too hyung and I were actually waiting for Yoongi hyung to tell us but now that you mention it, I couldn't find Yoongi Hyung's scent."

" That's what I meant last night. I couldn't feel his wolf hyung."

Everyone looks at Yoongi with a puzzled look on their faces.
