Feelings

Jin rushed to Jungkook's side and pulled him for a hug. " Baby baby look at me. What do you mean you can go on without shifting?". Jungkook doesn't reply to him. He keeps on crying so Jin takes him to their bedroom.

Everyone in the living room is baffled by Jungkook's statement. Jimin asks " Will he be okay?" Namjoon replies, " I guess. He's got Jin hyung, he'll be okay soon. There are so many things to deal with, which we'll do once Jungkook calms down"

" What's there to deal with hyung? We'll just have to make sure Jungkook is okay. His previous pack has traumatized him with punishments. What kind of a pack does punish them not to shift and that too a mountain wolf? We'll have to be very careful not to trigger those memories." Says Taehyung.

Namjoon sighs and replies, " It's not about how Jungkook was today. We've got bigger problems here. Those people from Jungkook's previous pack whom he saw a few days back were in the general office today asking us to send them one of their pack's omega who is in this territory."

" What? What do you mean by sending them back? Jungkook is the Luna of our pack. Who in the right mind would be willing to send off their Luna? Didn't you guys shut them off." shouts Yoongi.

" The problem is two omegas from our territory are from their pack. They haven't told us which omega it is. They claim it has to do with some ancient prophecy their pack has been following. Jin hyung was so mad at them but suddenly he told me he wanted to check on Jungkook and was okay after some time. I don't know what exactly happened but he was super calm even after knowing Jungkook was missing." replies Namjoon still puzzled by Jin's behavior.

" So the friend Jungkook met today is the other omega from that pack. Also even I was puzzled noticing Jin Hyung's calmness.", Says Jimin.

Hoseok then adds," We really got so much to deal with. Let's take some rest and we'll have to prepare ourselves for what's about to come. Let's never leave Jungkook alone hereafter, it's too risky."

"Yeah," says Yoongi.

Hoseok then looks at Yoongi's leg, and asks, " Are you okay hyung? Is your leg okay? You were struggling all along."

" What happened?" asks Tae who comes near Yoongi to check on the wound but doesn't find anything.

"I just got hurt while coming back but thankfully Jungkook used whatever he found nearby to treat the wound. It doesn't hurt now" replies Yoongi.

"We had a very long day, let's just sleep" adds Yoongi. And everyone starts moving to their room.

In Jin and Jungkook's room

Jin pulls Jungkook to sit on his lap and lets Jungkook cry all he wants. After a while, Jungkook stops crying. He still doesn't look at Jin. Jin lifts his chin to make him look at him, and wiping those remaining tears, he asks, " Can we talk? Or do you still need some time?"

" C-can talk"

"Okay. So what do you mean you can stay without shifting? Did you think the punishment, not going for the morning hunt meant not shifting?"

"Y-yeah. I had been given such punishments in my previous pack so thought–"

"Baby, I would never suggest something like that. It's the worst punishment one can give us. I'm sorry that I wasn't clear with my words. Also, why would you do Yoongi's and Hobi's punishment? That punishment is given because of their carelessness so don't blame yourself. Okay?"

Jungkook just nods. Jin then kisses Jungkook's forehead.

" Hereafter if you find any of your friend's scent then take someone with you. This forest is still new for you right so it's best you don't go alone. So how was your meeting with your friend?"

"Good"

"Still one-word answers?"

"I'm sorry about going in search of my friend, I should've–"

"Baby it's okay. We learn from our mistakes right? Also is your friend part of our territory?"

"Yeah"

" Then why didn't we meet him during the moon festival?"

"It seems he had gone to meet with his mate's friend from a different pack that day."

"He is mated?"

"Yes, and he is happy like me Yeobo."

After knowing both the omegas from that pack were mated, Jin was long lost in his thoughts.

"Yeobo" Jungkook calls him again.

"Yeah, baby. Sorry, I was thinking about something. If you are okay with sharing it with me, how was your life in your previous pack? If you still need time then we can talk about something else." says Jin intertwining his fingers with Jungkook.

" I didn't know my parents. All the orphan omega children grew up in a home where they trained us to help with the kitchen organizing, and other work so after presenting we were sent to senior members as house help. I-if we upset them, we'll be sent back to the home and w-we'll be punished. I met Mingyu there. He was my best friend, he used to always pick fights in the home with those who tried to bully me, he was always there for me so I always felt safe with him, and then–"

Jungkook sighed, " He left one morning that's when I learned how hell would be–"

"Baby you don't have to–"

"No yeobo, it's okay. Mingyu ran away from the pack. No one had any idea about it. I was his best friend so they thought I would know, but I didn't. They punished me daily to get some information and One day I ran away as it was too much to handle the torture and there was no one other than Mingyu in the pack I would consider as family. I thought I wouldn't survive, I wanted to at least die, free from all the torture but somehow I survived. I stayed in many Elderly omega shelters and then one day you found me and now I'm glad I didn't give up on myself" says Jungkook smiling at Jin.

Jin kissed him lightly, " I love you so much, baby. And Thank you so much for not giving up."

" Yeobo, Today I found out why Mingyu ran away. It seems in that pack, they believe an omega would be born with special abilities, mating with them will bring all good things to the pack. But if they lose them or they mate outside their pack, then they will bring their pack down. So they've always treated omegas like slaves, no one other than the senior members of the pack knew of this prophecy. Whenever they notice an omega unusually strong, they try to get them mated to their kids. But they never found that perfect Omega. Until Mingyu."

"So it's Mingyu they are searching for. But he is mated so it's no use in getting him back to their pack" says Jin.

" But what if they want to hurt him just because he mated outside the pack"
