Cause

Everyone in the room looks at Yoongi as if he has completely lost his mind. Mates can feel each other's emotions once the mating bond is sealed and is active. The mating bond becomes as strong as the relationship between the mates. Even Jin and Jungkook can't feel each other's emotions so easily since it hasn't been so long since they mated. Even if their bond worked differently because they are both mountain wolves and their connection is very strong, it would at least be theoretically acceptable. But Yoongi feeling Jin and Jungkook's emotion is something that is not even theoretically possible. Unless,

"What I understand from this is, Yoongi hyung is Jin and Jungkook's pup?" Tae said. The parents feel the pup's emotions until the pup presents properly.

Yoongi sighs.

"That's the only logical explanation for why you could feel Jin Hyung's and Jungkook's thoughts", Tae glares at Yoongi.

Yoongi, who himself doesn't understand what is actually happening, tries to explain, "Tae, I really wish I had an answer to why I could listen to their feeling and thoughts, but that's what had happened. But it's not something like what mates could feel or how pups feel. It's different. I don't understand properly, but I think I can only feel them when they actually allow them."

Before Tae could further question Yoongi, Jin forges ahead, "When did you first know it was our emotions that you are feeling?"

" I am not sure when exactly it started, but the feeling is strong whenever there is urgency. I didn't exactly feel Jungkook was in danger. I was able to feel just your pain and could connect the dots when I found out you were not hurt or in pain literally, but were projecting something else." Yoongi answers.

Namjoon starts pacing around the living room, " Hyung, if this is all even possible, then how are you able to feel things? Even if Jungkook has the power and may be being his mate, Jin hyung got some of his power, but how does it explain you losing connection with your own wolf but connecting with Jin hyung's and Jungkook's wolf?"

Hobi looks at Namjoon and realises, " I have a doubt. If Yoongi hyung lost connection with his wolf, then everything started. Will it be the same with us, too, now that Tae and I lost connection with our wolf?"

Yoongi looks at Jin, " I think so. You can still feel your wolf in the beginning, and then you will lose connection completely. Jin hyung's and Jungkook's wolf's connection will be established in the meantime. Initially, you'll feel a warm feeling, just like how both their wolves treat us all the time, and soon you can feel a few other emotions that they both feel."

Jin tries to comprehend everything everyone is saying and finds a major flaw in their theory, " If Jungkook is the reason for this, why do I, as his mate, never lose any connection with my wolf. It should have started with me, right?"

"You are right, hyung. There is also another question. If it's really Jungkook, then what exactly does he do to all of us that started this process of losing our wolf? Jin hyung, it's only us who lost connection. You didn't really have any issue with your wolf, so we can't really group all of us into one. Jin hyung got some perks being Jungkook's mate, but we three got something else. I mean, we lost something and also gained access to your wolf. Hyung, maybe for you to have those perks, your packmates will have to pay the price and lose a few that already exist," wonders Tae.

" I'm sorry, but I don't t-think we are l-losing anything," Yoongi answers even though he knows everyone feels otherwise.

Jin is confused," Yoongi-ah, how does losing connection with your own wolf count as a perk?

Yoongi answers, "Hyung, I don't know. But don't you guys think this is something big? I mean, why would Jungkook want me to have access to his and your thoughts and emotions? Wouldn't his wolf at least try to protect his mate, even if all these have something to do with the pack's prophecy? I strongly believe there is something else that's happening to us. Maybe this is just the beginning."

Yoongi then looks at Tae, "Even I'm trying to figure out what exactly triggered all these. There must be something that happened to all three of us with Jungkook. I have no idea what that is."

Jin exhales, " I agree with Yoongi. I think something else is happening with us. We'll try to figure it out soon. Before that, we'll have to find the cause and stop it from happening with Namjoon and Jimin."

Jin looks at the ground, his eyes welling with tears, " Also, I want you guys to know Jungkook can never harm a fly. He loves you all so much. Even if this is all because of Jungkook, I'm sure he doesn't even know that. He can never know that all this has something to do with him. He's been through so much all his life, I don't want to cause him pain again."

Tae moves to hug Jin, " We know hyung. He is our packmate. We trust him."

Yoongi and Namjoon join Tae. "You don't have to worry about anything, hyung. We are going to figure out everything without Jungkook knowing anything," says Namjoon.

Yoongi assures, "We know our Jungkook, hyung. We'll just have to find the caus–"

"Blood, Sweat, and Tears," Hoseok says loudly, interrupting Yoongi.

Yoongi glares, " Seriously?"

Hoseok looks at Tae and says again, "Blood, Sweat, and Tears."

Tae's eyes widen.
