I'm done. I'm done. I'm so done!
Wtf is Andy doing with Shadrack?! And where the * bleep bleep* is *bleeping* Eve?!
Yes I'm taking a vow of no swearing so the beeps are to represent cusses. Oh use your imaginations for a change and come up with something yourselves!
So yes. I'm done. We can't find Eve or even a scent of Fitz ( he smells so good oh ma glob... What? Aw Colin don't worry, you smell okay I guess ). And now Andy is apparently gay for Shadrack ( wow totally didn't see that coming... Actually.. I didn't, oh ). So what the flip is going on with Katie?!
I swear to god that girl will be the death of me! She actually has almost been in the past, but that's what I get for even considering the thought she might have changed.. But that was out o the question.
So, the six of us, tired and slightly pissed off ( with the exception for Sandy -Shadrack and Andy- who were quite happy.. Well happy as an emo can get.... So not happy.. Let's just go with gay*.. IN THE OLD FASHIONED SENSE!! God, people these days)
*[a.n] for those who didn't know, gay actually meant content/happy before humanity started using it as a phrase to describe homosexuals :/ I know society is strange
headed off towards Katie's London apartment, ready to give her lying ass a peace of our minds!
But when we got there, we found my sister in a frenzy of panic. No sooner as Graham had lightly rapped on the door, it was flung open.
"Sammy I- oh," Katie looked a little disappointed when she realised who it actually was, standing outside her door at three o'clock in the evening. Actually, she was practically devastated at the sight of us.
Charming..
"Expecting somebody else?" I remarked in a snide manner. Pushing past my elder sister, uninvited, into her messy flat.
The others followed awkwardly behind me, and I was utterly embarrassed by the clutter Katie had cooped herself up in. Being an extremely well organised and precise person myself, I almost gouged my own eyes out at the sight of random books and papers that littered the floors, desks and any other surface imaginable in the small, crummy apartment. With the curtains, long drawn, down the place was softly illuminated in a ghostly glow of natural light. The only other light source being that of Katie's laptop, which she rather unsubtly closed upon our arrival.
Hmm. What is she hiding?
Colin and I made eye contact. He had noticed too.
"Excepting someone? Oh not at all, not at all." Katie answered almost robotically. "Tea?"
My sister had always been a good and rather convincing lier. But having known her for so long I had gotten accustomed to the little hints that gave her away... Like the offering of a hot beverage, for example.
The others, who didn't know her quite so well, happily agreed to her drinks offer. Filing into the small kitchen after her easily. I, on the other hand, watched my sister in suspicion.
Katie pushed aside the disarray of mismatched papers and books from her countertops to make room for tea cups. Making me cringe as the heavily bound books clattered to the floor and papers fluttered in the air like wings. Yet I made no attempt to pick up the mess, knowing full well that Katie will swat me off like a wasp if I so much as lifted a page.
She never did like me touching her things.. But what are these books about I wonder?
Being as curious and as suspicious as I was, I waited until Katie's back was turned and the other's were preoccupied by one of Andy's emotional breakdowns over the Batman mug Katie had given him. (It was his special one or something, idk, I think he was sure she'd forgotten about it or something) I took this as a chance to inspect one of the worn, leather books on her coffee table. But what ever the contents the book was hiding, I'd never know. The whole thing seemed to be written in some dialect of Latin..
