After spending two long weeks in the sterile, almost suffocating environment of the private hospital wing in their mansion-under the constant, scrutinizing gaze of doctors, nurses, and, most terrifyingly, his wife- Jungkook was finally discharged.

To say he was relieved would be an understatement.

The moment the doctor gave him the green light, he nearly jumped out of bed-only to be immediately caught by Y/N's sharp glare, making him freeze in place like a guilty child.

Truthfully, if it had been up to him, he would have walked out of that place three days after the injury.

But could he?

Absolutely not.

Not when Y/N had stationed herself like a personal bodyguard at his bedside, monitoring his every movement like a hawk.

Not when she had the entire medical staff wrapped around her little finger, making sure they didn't let him leave a second too soon.

And certainly not when every time he so much as hinted at being fine, Y/N would cross her arms and say in that tone-

"Do you want me to sedate you myself?"

Jungkook wasn't dumb.

So, for two weeks, he suffered.

He endured Y/N forcing him to stay in bed, endured the constant poking and prodding of doctors, endured the embarrassment of being babied in front of Jimin and Taehyung.

But today?

Today, he was free.

Or... so he thought.

Just when Jungkook was about to swing his legs off the bed, feeling the sweet taste of freedom within reach, the door to the room swung open.

He barely had time to react before Y/N walked in, her presence radiating authority.

And behind her? Taehyung.

With a wheelchair.Wait. What?

Jungkook's brows furrowed in deep confusion. Was that... for him?

No way.

Absolutely not.

His brain struggled to process the situation as Taehyung pushed the wheelchair forward, looking far too entertained for Jungkook's liking.

"Uh, Y/N... Wh-" Jungkook started, his voice tinged with hesitation and dread.

But before he could even finish, Y/N cut him off with that tone-the one that shut down arguments before they even started.

"You getting discharged does not mean you're perfectly fine," she stated matter-of-factly, arms crossed.

Jungkook's mouth opened, but before he could protest, Y/N continued.

"Your wounds are still healing and putting unnecessary pressure on them will slow your recovery," she explained calmly, like she was talking to an unruly child.

Jungkook blinked.

Once.

Twice.

Then looked at the wheelchair.

Then at Taehyung.Who was very much struggling to hold back his laughter.

"You are joking, right?" Jungkook asked, his voice carrying a mix of disbelief and desperation. But one look at his wife's determined expression, and he knew-she was dead serious.
