Hisoka: Can we skip ahead nine months?
Shalnark: Why nine months?
Hisoka: Because you idiot.
Amy: Daddy, I can't sleep.
A little girl walks into the room and pulls at the hem of Hisoka's shirt.
Hisoka: Aw come here.
He picks her up and walks out of the room.
Shalnark: Ooohhhhhhh that's why.

Hisoka: I can't believe I'm going to be a father!
Hisoka was pacing back and forth in front of me.
Hisoka: But I'm a horrible person how the hell am I supposed to take care of a child?!
I shrug and rub my belly.
Me: I would have told you earlier but you left to go do whatever so i had to deal with whats her face breathing down my neck. Can you believe she threatened to put me in that weird ass vacuum of hers?!
Hisoka gives me a weird look.
Hisoka: Thats how she is. She'll forget about you soon enough.
I hhmph and grab a chocolate bar, nibbling on it. Hisoka comes over and hugs me from behind, softly rubbing my belly.
Hisoka: I love you.
He whispers it in my ear and the feeling of his breath on my ear makes me shiver a bit. I smile.
Me: I love you too.
He slowly guides me to his bed and we lay down together, chest to chest. Or, similarily anyway, since i cant exactly do that with my belly. I rest my head just under his chin and he wraps his arms around me. I sigh happily.
Me: I wish you hadnt gone off and done whatever it is you did. I miss cuddling like this. The last time we cuddled was what? Nine months ago? The day after we did it.
I smile as i reminisce, remembering how it had been to wake up in his arms, warm and safe. The way he smelled, the way his body fit against mine perfectly....
Hisoka: Off in lala land i see.
Damn him, breaking into my thoughts.
Me: Just reminiscing.
He smiles.
Hisoka: I know. You get a faraway look in your eyes.
He srares lovingly at me, and im struck by how serene and non psychopathic he can be. I giggle at the thought.
Hisoka: What?
Me: You.
Hisoka: What about me?
Me: Just thinking about how non psychopathic you look right now.
He pouts, making him even cuter.
