A week past with an occasional text or email message to Cody. She felt her love for him slipping down the drain until Monday came. Cody kept texting her that he missed her and all, and [Y/N] texted him back the same things, saying she hoped they could meet again. He replied with, 'dw bout it, soon enuff.' and that was it. She asked him what he meant, and he never texted her back. It was really annoying, yet what he said was always on her mind, she couldn't concentrate on her studies, and was always thinking about him, 24/7. She, literally, could not sleep because of him. It was starting to get annoying, but she accepted it. If this was 'love', then be it. But she started wondering if she had an obsession. But no. After school on Monday, she was pretty sure she could never, ever forget about him as long as she lived.
She came back from school like any ordinary day, and finished her math homework until she had a major headache from too much multiplying decimals and scale drawings. Her mom was acting weird, too, so robotic and answering her questions mechanically. She laid down on the couch and watched some Long Island Medium, until she had enough about mind reading and was climbing upstairs. The door was closed, which was weird, because she always, ALWAYS left it open. She cautiously approached the door, and turned the door knob. She flung the door opened, and gasped so loud she was sure her mom heard her from all the way downstairs. Her lime green room, the white carpeted floor, covered in pink, red, white confetti, and small tiny red balloons. Pink streamers hung from the wall, and when she looked to the left, there was a ginormous picture of her and Cody, standing arm and arm, hanging there. So maybe the paparazzi HAD got a photo of them. At least it was nice. She stepped in and smiled so hard her lips felt like they were cracking in half. Literally every inch was filled with either a balloon or confetti. She picked up a balloon and noticed there was something inside it. She shook it, and then popped the balloon. A Lindt chocolate was in there, and a paper heart. Also, when the balloon popped, glitter sprinkled out. She opened the carefully folded heart, and read. 'To My Favourite Girl: You are my Juliet.' Her heart swelled. She popped the next balloon, and more words. 'To My Favourite Girl: I don't know what I would do without you.' She popped each balloon, until she reached the biggest one outside of her closet. She picked it up and popped it. 'I can't stand not being with you. Open your closet.' REALLY? [Y/N] thought. He was in the closet, oh my God, he was in the closet! ([Y/N] admitted, it was kind of weird he was in the closet, but so sweet and considerate of him to do this!) She opened the closet so carefully, its like one sharp movement and it would break. She peeked inside and her heart dropped. No Cody. Although there was a card on the floor. It was one of those cards in which you can record what you want to say. She opened it, and there was a picture of him and her hugging. "[Y/N]." The card said. She flinched. "My favourite girl, look out the window. Love, Cody." and it stopped, and one of his songs started playing. She got butterflies. She looked out the window. It was dark out, but the lawn lights were on. There, stood Cody, looking up at her. He smiled. [Y/N] quickly ran downstairs, and put on her boots, and ran outside. She wasn't even cold, even though it was still winter and she had no coat on. Seeing Cody gave her such an adrenaline rush. She ran to the back, and there he stood, smiling. [Y/N] ran to him and gave him the biggest hug. "I missed you." he whispered in her ear. "Me too. Oh, my, God, I can't believe your here!" she shrieked. "Aha, me either." he replied, rumpling his blonde hair. "Sit. I have to do something. She noticed the stool, and she sat. She could barely sit still. Her heart was pounding so bad it felt like it was going to burst out of her chest. He smiled at her again, and took his same guitar he used at his performance in Manhattan, when they first met. She smiled so hard, and her lips started hurting. He started playing his songs and [Y/N] just couldn't stop smiling and appreciating him. He did all this just for her. For [Y/N]. After he was done, he took a rose from behind his back (she was no clue how he got it) and gave it to her. "Y'know," he said, "white roses represent love." and he gave her the white rose. They stood up silently, [Y/N] about to cry since she wanted to keep this moment for life, until a big light came on, and it showed the path that led down to the beach; [Y/N] lived close to the beach. Cody asked for [Y/N]s hand, and she took it, and they walked down the path in the moonlight, silently, appreciating this moment. They both had huge smiles on their faces. They reached the beach; the water was still, and reflected to moonlight. A picnic blanket had been placed down on the sand. It bore food, and [Y/N] almost laughed out loud. A moonlight picnic on a beach with Cody Simpson. This had to be surreal. "Uhm, I hope its not too much." Cody blushed, facing her. "No, its perfect." And he took her to sit down on the blanket. They talked and ate, [Y/N] filling him up on current events at school and such, and Cody about his new track. They catched up on each others lives, and acted like they do this picnic thing everyday. At one point, they were dancing on the beach, and Cody did this ridiculous move, and [Y/N] couldn't help it. She laughed so much her insides hurt, so much that she couldnt stand and tears were filling up her eyes. She fell down on the beach, and Cody flopped down beside her. They were just laying there, looking at the star strewn sky. [Y/N] was finally with Cody. She missed him so much, and now he was here. She was going to do anything to enjoy these precious moments with him. She looked at him, and he was staring at her. His nose had a bit of sand on it, so [Y/N] wiped it away. He took her hand and they looked up at the sky again. [Y/N] wanted this moment to last forever.
