In the morning, after a quick breakfast of bacon and eggs, [Y/F/N] went to go shop at SoHo, so [Y/N] had free time for herself at their hotel. They were leaving in three days, so [Y/N] took out her suitcase and propped it against the wall. As she was searching the drawers for her favorite Abercrombie shirt, a small piece of tissure fluttered to the floor. The events of last night resumed in her head, and her heart immediately quickened. She looked at the clock. It was 10:23. Cody surely must be up by now. But she was scared to call. What if he was busy making his vocals better, and was annoyed that she had interrupted him? But she put on her brave face, and picked up her phone. She took a big breath, and dialed the number. On the third ring, he answered. "Hello?" he asked, his voice sounding like he had juts finished singing a lot of songs. "H-Hi," she stammered, being so nervous she was about to hang up and give it another chance in an hour or so. But he was on the line. What was the point of hanging up? She would be just as scared in an hour or so, anyways. "Cody! It's me, the girl from your concert yesterday? [Y/N]?" she braced herself, hoping he would remember, because she had some thoughts that maybe he would not have remembered. His voice lightened. "Oh! Hey! [Y/N] ! I was looking forward to your call!" "Well, I was looking forward to hearing your voice, too." she said, braver then she was feeling. He laughed. "So, what're you doing today?" he asked her. Her heart pounded. Was this a trick question? Just a normal question or a ask-out question? "Oh, nothing. Was probably going to go see the Museum of History later today. No biggie." Wait. Had she really just said No Biggie to him? She buried her face into a pillow. "Oh cool." he said. "How about you?" she said, her face burning. "Oh, nothing. I have a free day today. Might hang out with some friends. We're going to that cool new restaurant, Cafe Yenn, ever heard?" he asked lightly. "Yes! But I've never been there. I want to go so bad! I heard their Roast Beef is amazing!" [Y/N] remarked, then immediately went nervous. Who said Roast Beef is amazing to a guy? He laughed. "Yea, well, my friend just texted me anyways and said he cant go..." his voice sounded different, as if he just was lying, not his usual self. "...and I was really looking forward to it, want to ... go?" he sounded nervous now, too, as if there was even a slight chance she would say no. "Of course!" she said. She didn't even think about it. "Yes!" she screamed. Then settled herself. She didn't want THE Cody Simpson to think she was crazy. "Great!" his voice chipper, "Pick you up at six. Where do you live?" She told him the address of her hotel and he responded with, "Cool. I'll have Marko pick you up in the limo. I'll be there, don't worry." and he laughed. "Nice!" she said. She was stunned. She couldn't think of anything else to say. He laughed, as though he knew exactly what she was feeling. And he probably did. "Best be going now, Brittany is badgering me about this new video she wants to make..." "Bye! See you at six, Cody!" she felt weird about saying his name. "Bye, [Y/N]!" he said in almost a joking- mocking voice. She hung up. She fell on her bed. She was going to have dinner with Cody Simpson! At Cafe Yenn! It was a dream come true. She kept thinking about conversation starters, until [Y/F/N] came in and put all her bags on the floor. [Y/N] saw a really nice blue top in one bag, and her heart jumped into her throat, as she remembered. What was she going to wear!?
