They sat there in awkward silence for about two minutes, as the car started slowly moving, into oncoming traffic. [Y/N] actually couldn't believe it. Here she was, sitting with CODY-EFFING-SIMPSON in his limousine, about to dine at one of New York's highest class restaurants, and she COMPLETELY forgot about all the topics she discussed with herself as she was preparing for this 'date'. She looked at him and, randomly said, "You have really nice blue eyes. It's like ice." He laughed, and said, "Yeah, well. You too. Except, their, you know, [Y/E/C]." Before she could hold it , she burst out laughing. Why? She didn't know. But it didn't matter, Cody was staring deep into her eyes, and he only seemed to notice HER. Eventually, they settled into comfortable conversation, talking about their favourite foods, and occasionally sharing jokes with each other. While they were swerving into the parking lot, they car hit a hard left, and [Y/N], despite her seat belt, fell into Cody. Embarrassed, she felt Cody touch her shoulders and bring her up into a sitting position. [Y/N] froze. Cody took her hand, which had a small rough scratch on it from the fall, and asked her if it hurt. "Of course not. It's just a scratch." she said, dazed. But he didn't let go. He looked at her hand as if it was a piece of treasure, and as the car parked, he didn't let go. He opened the door with his free hand, and got out, [Y/N] following. They were officially HOLDING HANDS! [Y/N] was freaking out in her mind, and imagined telling [Y/F/N] this whole date. She would be flying off the wall. Everyone stared at them, and [Y/N] blushed, but kept her head up. She obviously didn't pull away from the holding, and she was glad he didn't. As they went to the maitre d's to get their reservation, she noticed there was a lot of celebrities here. Not high end stars like Taylor Lautner or Angelina Jolie, but celebrities as in TV Show celebrities. But Cody was still holding her hand. They reached their table and he finally broke the holding of the hands, and pulled out her chair. She said thank you, and he sat down too. Then she realized what that really nice smell was wafting with them from the car to here. Good hair, adorable accent, nice scent, this was a man worth keeping. And, it WAS CODY SIMPSON! He started up conversation, and [Y/N] kept up. Her hand was on the table, resting there, and in a swift motion, he pulled out his hand and covered hers. Chills ran down her body. But she felt this night was going to be fantastic. They shared jokes, and split a cappuccino. [Y/N] acted normal, but the whole time, she was freaking out inside. Like a crazed fan. The maitre d' came to them, asked their orders, and Cody, smiling like a lunatic at her, said, "I'll take the roast beef. This really special girl told me it's really good." he laughed and winked at her, his blue eyes shining. [Y/N] smiled.
