Captured

Chapter 25

Leo's POV

Finally sensei called us into the lab. We were all nervous to see Raph. We didn't know if he was going to make it!

I was the first one to enter, followed by Donnie, then Mikey. I was scared. They may have saved me, but we might have lost Raph for it.

As I entered, I was surprised! There was Raph in the same place as last time. Only this time, his eyes were open, and he was sitting up! He smiled at us.

"Raph!" Mikey yelled running up to Raph. Mikey hugged him, carefully making sure that he didn't touch any wounds.

"Nice to see you too," Raph said hugging Mikey back. After Raph let go, sensei started to talk.

"I did not think that Raphael was going to make it. I tried my best, and it worked! It will take him some time to heal, but eventually he'll be as good as new."

I went up to Raph. "Glad to see you again," I said. "Nice to see you too," Raph said.

"I don't get it," Mikey said.

"What don't you get?" I asked. I had no clue what he was talking about.

"You were there for a whole month, how was Raph in worst condition then you were," Mikey explained.

We all looked at Splinter for an explanation.

"Most of Leonardo's wounds were already healed or healing. He just needed some bandages and water. He wasn't bleeding at all when I was putting bandages on him," Splinter explained.

"Meanwhile the cut on Raphael went really deep. Shredder had just missed his heart. I was more worried about Raphael, because I thought he was going to bleed to death."

"Okay, I get it now," Mikey said.

"Now that we're all here, why don't you explain what happened," Splinter said.

Ever since we've come back, we still didn't tell Master Splinter what happened and how they saved me. In fact, I don't even know the full story!

We all gathered in the main room. We all took a seat forming a circle.

"I'll explain the first part," Raph said.

Raph explained about the making of the plan. He explained that at first he was making the plan by himself because no one else would help him. Eventually he got Donnie in on the plan, then not long after that they got Mikey.

Donnie explained that he had to stay up all night some nights just to make night vision goggles. It took him a whole week to figure out how to make one pair! Splinter started questioning Donnie about them, so he quickly made up a lie that they were for a game that Mikey invented.

Mikey explained about how once they snook out, Mikey had to separate from the others to set off fireworks. He had troubles finding them again after that.

They all continued explaining what happened. Some parts were really surprising. Once they had finished explaining, sensei started talking.

"I should be mad at you three for sneaking out, doing what I told you not to do, and almost getting killed for it. However, you all made it back here fine, and we have Leonardo back, so I don't see why I would have a reason to be mad at you," Splinter said.

Everyone was smiling. I even think that they shouldn't be in trouble.

"You're the best!" Mikey yelled running up to sensei and hugging him.

"Nice to have you back Leo. I hate to admit it, but I missed you," Raph said saying the last part a bit quieter.

"It's nice to see you again too. And thanks for risking your life for me," I said.

"No problem brother," Raph said.

I smiled. It was nice to be back. I never imagined that I could miss the sewers this much. I missed my bed, my food, Space Heroes, pinball, pizza, and most importantly, my family.

Today I thought I'd be a lot more sad then I was. I'd just been threw a month of torture. Even though that had happened to me, I try to not let it effect my life. I'm glad to be back, and with my family. At night time I think about it, and it scares me. During the daytime, I try to forget about it. I know it will always be in my mind, but the less I think about it, the faster I can move on in life.

----Six months later----

It's been six months now since I was rescued by my brothers. All of my wounds are gone, but I have a couple scars.

That moth that I was in Shredders lair was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I still have nightmares about it.

Although it was an extremely scary time in my life, I learned from there, believe it or not. I learned to keep on going no matter what. Even when I felt terrible, and was in a ton of pain, I kept on going. I kept on going for my family. I couldn't have left them that easily.

Raph has recovered from what Shredder did to him. There is a scar from it, but he's almost as good as new. If you but an extreme amount of pressure on it, he says it hurts a bit, but besides that he's fine.

Even though I did fail as leader, the whole team still wanted me to lead, so I agreed to do it. Ever since that happened, I've been training harder, and a lot more then I did before. I have improved a lot. Next time, I'll be really for Shredder.

I'm really glad to be back. I missed being able to sit down and relax without being afraid that you may be tortured soon.

Being captured was a terrible thing but without it happening to me, I wouldn't have been training as much, or I wouldn't have learned to go on no matter what. I also wouldn't have learned to enjoy ever minute in life that you have with your family. That is why I try to get in less fights, and I'll always hang out with them.

Being captured was hard, but being without my family was even harder.
