It was our last night here, and the sun was setting. Once again, I was lounging in the lawn chair on the small dock to watch it.

During the summer, me and Thomas would sit on the rooftop and watch the sun set. Our little down is nestled on the side of a mountain, and it overlooks the mountains as well. It provides us with the perfect view of watching the sunset over the dark purple mountains. Beautiful, just beautiful.

As I was admiring the end of February sunset, I became aware that someone had plopped down on the chair beside me with a heaved sigh.

"Sup?" I glanced over to see none other than yours truly..Trey Parker sitting next to me. You'd think that by this point I would refer to him just as Trey, but apparently not. It's weird, it's almost like all the popular older boys are always referred to with a first and last name. Like their a celebrity or something.

High school is kind of screwed up in that sense.

I clicked my tongue, "Just sitting here basking in mother nature's glory," I tried to say this as cheerily as I could so that I could sound cheesy.

Trey chuckled, "And you look like you're having so much fun."

I flashed him a smile, "You bet I am." I'm going to openly admit that his presence made the freezing evening a little warmer. Yeah, I know. I'm that corny.

Trey surprised me when he abruptly stood up, "Come on, I know a great way to watch the last few minutes of the sunset!" I was slow to stand up, and Trey grabbed my hand and yanked me with me as he took off I to a short jog. His legs are practically twice my length though, so it took two or three of my short stubby steps for each one of his just for me to have a shot of keeping up.

"Where are we going?" I asked with my breaths in puffs. What? It's hard to keep up with a neanderthal, especially when you're short and out of shape.

He came to a halt in front of a green canoe, then flashed me a confident smirk. "Let's go out on this!"

I snuck a peek at the canoe, and I decided it would most likely hold us both. It had a blanket, and I could have sworn there was a bag of cookies in there too. A small smile invaded my face and I saw Trey looking down at me. Then he glanced at our hands, where our fingers were still interlinked. Simultaneously, we pulled our hands away and I swear I felt the blush creeping onto my cheeks. I disciplined myself in attempt to tame the redness in my cheeks. I saw little success.

"Let's go for it," I agreed. Trey did a fist pump, which I found rather dorky but I still chuckled at him. Dorks are so cute.

So that's how I ended up on a canoe with Trey Parker in the middle of an absolutely freezing lake at almost 7:00 at night.

Once we got to the middle, Trey slowed down the canoe and stopped us. I shivered as a breeze went by and Trey noticed, and next thing a knew, my vision was clouded as something hit me in the face.

"Nice catch," Trey snickered. I realized it was his black sweatshirt he had thrown at me.

"Won't you be cold?" He was only wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and the temperature just kept dropping too.

He shook his head, "No, I'm tough," he flexed and I chuckled. "Besides, you're smaller than me, which means you'll freeze easier." Without further adieu, I tugged his sweatshirt over my head and was immediately enveloped in warmth.
