CHAPTER TWO

"Ugh." Jeez my head hurt like no bodies business. Something deep down (probably instinct, oops) told me I should probably stay still and re-assess the situation. I was in a car of some kind; I could hear the engine purring in the back ground and the swish and bumps of being on a highway. My face was pressed against leather and the smell of it was in my noise, so I was lying on my stomach with my hands duct-taped behind my back. I moved them experimentally, and heard someone say "She's awake! That's not possible she should have slept for a solid twelve hours! It's only been eight!?!? What the hell does that mean?" The guy sounded really frantic, what a dweeb. I turned my head toward the sound, sense my cover was blown, and opened my eyes. What I saw confused me at first, Chief (looking pretty beat up :p) and some lab tech. looking guy were facing me, that just didn't make sense for a car so I raised my head a little to find that I was, indeed, in a limo-I would have been totally excited if the situation was different.

"It means" came a very familiar gravelly voice "re-sedated her you idiot, with more this time!" The guy looked like he was about to pee his self with fright, and oddly he looked really curios, but he hopped to and got a black tote bag full of doctor stuff out.

"Hey there Chief, oh I never asked you can I call you Chief" by the look on his face I was guessing not "No? Well that's too bad cause I am any ways" My voice was hoarse from not talking for hours, "I figured you would have bailed out on me after I kicked you in the go-nades, and your face for that matter, but here you are, you must heal real fast cause obviously you can hear me."

"Shut up." he growled, and it was pretty darn convincing to, I might add.

"Aw, don't be like that-OW!" That last bit was due to the sharp sting of a needle being shoved into my neck muscles. And I drifted into sweet oblivion, not.

This time I didn't make a sound, or make any kind of movement. I just laid there and kept breathing deeply. Well I was still duct-taped, this time they were as kind as to duct-tape my legs and mouth too. They probably thought I was going to shake of the sedatives and jumped up kicking and screaming, well I guess there not completely brain dead. I was lying on my back with my hands squished under me. And gawd almighty my head HURT!!! I thought I was going to be sick with the pain in my head. I heard voices around me and the floor was vibrating slightly, so we were probably on the move again. I listened to the voices around me trying to collect as much info as I could before I got to that "school".

"When do you think she'll wake up? I heard they gave her a double dose after she woke up cussing at one of the Steve's!" came a guy's voice, rich with excitement. What did they mean by 'one of the Steve's"? At that point I don't think I could handle clones or something, *sigh* well Ill find out soon enough if I can or not.

"I don't know but I doubt she did anything worth landing herself her she doesn't look like the type to cause trouble, maybe they made a mistake when they put her down here with us, she belongs up top with the other goodie good sheep." Someone said-another guy, typical sexist crap as usual. Well that was irritating, of course they were judging me on my appearance, everyone always under estimated me because of my appearance. I had medium length, dark chestnut brown hair that went every which way because I always had to cut it myself. I always thought my face looked too soft and round and I had a small cute nose-yeah "cute" it just doesn't fit me, I'm 5'4 and skinny. I don't look like much but if you wanted to arm wrestle me you'd find out otherwise really fast. My eyes are my best feature, there the same intense green as my brothers. Thinking of my brother sent I wave of sadness and determination through me; I shoved away the sadness and opened my eyes.

What I saw again confused me like the limo had. I was lying against a wall that curved from the floor to the roof. It was all grey and there was no furniture only rib looking support beams that were lining the whole doom. There were big boxes everywhere; the room in all could probably hold four cars side by side. I looked over at the people I heard talking earlier, they were all looking at me like I was a freak. There were two guys and a small petite girl. The guy closest to me was tall even though he was sitting down and had hair that reminded me of Ray-Ray, his muscles were bulging out of his shirt sleeves and looked he like a bear. The other guy had chocolate colored hair and blue eyes; he was muscular too, just not as obviously as the big guy. I had a feeling he was the guy who had thought I was a wimp; I only thought this because of the glare he pointed at me. Jerk. The girl was a complete mystery to me; she was the exact type of girl Mr. thinks-he-knows-me thought I was-stereotypically of course she could have been a bad-ass like me. She had short glossy blonde hair and a little girl face, even though all of them had to be around my age of 15.

"HELLO!!" I said, well I tried to say. It didn't come out as well, but they got the picture when squirmed pointedly.

"Oh right. I'll get that for you." Said the big guy, I was starting to like him; at least he wasn't a jerk like the other one. He seemed almost like a little kid to me, except the immense size of course. He came over and ripped (OW!!) the tape off my mouth.

"Thank you." I said icily. "Where are we?"

"Where in the cargo hold of a flight plane." Said the girl shyly

"And who are you?" I asked, might as well get the names and locations out of the way.

"I'm Paul" said the first guy, the big one, "and that's Sam" he pointed to the other guy "and that's Molly." He concluded

"I'm Alex," I looked at Sam " and what's your problem, you don't even know me and already you have me pegged as a sheep and a goody good, what's that all about tough guy" I said the last part with obvious none belief, I bet I could take him in a fight.
