There was a light knock on my room door I was secretly hoping it was YG, I hadn't spoke to him since yesterday night. I needed to vent this time about Dijon and his wife. Something happened earlier and I wasn't feeling it. Her and Dijon got into a verbal altercation. It was none of my business until she put her hands on my brother. Whoever was at the door began to knock again.
"Who is it?" I yelled with annoyance evident my voice.
"It's me, Chanel." I heard her speak barely above a whisper on the side of the door.
"Oh." I mumbled not wanting to tell her to come in. I didn't know why she wanted to speak to me. This is her house out of respect I allowed her to come in. "Come in." I yelled. The door opened halfway and she stuck her head in the room letting her eyes roam the room for a second or two.
"I'm going to just get straight to the point and you probably don't even want to see my right now but I'm trying. First I want I say sorry for your lost. Second I'm sorry you feel that I took Dijon away from you guys if that's the case. We don't have to be the best of friends but can we at least be cordial. Dijon is forcing us to go have a girls night." She said still standing by the door swinging the door back and forth in a nervous manner.
"I'm okay, I don't feel good." I said disregarding everything she said up until the point about us having a girls night. I didn't vibe with her and I didn't want to be cordial with her I felt as if we were doing fine in the house. I stayed out of her way and she stayed out of mine, we never crossed paths.
"Please, he'll get off my back and yours." She begged. He did annoy me about Chanel and I getting to know each other. Y'all can be like the best of friend if y'all got to know each other. Both of y'all like the same shit. Spending my money. His exact words played in my head.
"Fine." I mumbled rolling my eyes. She jumped up and down clapping her hands together.
"Okay, okay be ready in a hour." She smiled quickly walking out of the room leaving door wide open.
"What the fuck did I just do." I sighed getting out of my bed walking over to the door closing it.
"I don't wanna go!" I pouted throwing myself on the floor having a silent tantrum.

When Chanel said going out I thought she meant a club but she actually meant a strip club. I walked to the bar ordering myself a drink. I sat far away from Chanel and her clique of friends. They were the type of girls I hated back home in Dallas. Shit talkers with hands that didn't move fast like their lips. We had just stepped foot into the strip club and they were already talking about females they didn't even know. They weren't up to par their selves to be talking about anybody.
I bobbed my head to the music that was blaring throughout the club while I sipped on my drink.
I was fascinated by how flexible these strippers were. They did this with ease. My eyes trailed to the money that littered the stage. You have no source of income. The words Dijon spoke played in my head. I was going to school for cosmetology that would cost a lot of money, money I didn't have. Stripping isn't that bad, I'll only do it for a couple months and stack up. I shook the temptation off. All money wasn't good money I reminded myself. I would be the worst stripper there was to man kind, I'm clumsy as hell and I can't dance. So maybe that's for the better. I drank the rest of my drink before calling it a night.
"I'm about to head home." I yelled into Chanel's ear over the loud music.
"Everything okay?" I shook my head no dramatically placing my hand on my stomach rubbing it.
